♥️
Looking ahead to 2026, I feel that familiar flicker, the moment when something new wants to begin 💖
Hair dried in the sun. Long bike rides. Sketchbooks tucked into a satchel. Color showing up everywhere again. Impromptu trips to the coast. Evenings spent dreaming in my garden. Breezy linen dresses. Windows open.
Every year I share this illustration as a marker, a quiet tradition. A reminder that beginnings carry their own kind of magic. An empty garden plot. A blank canvas. A whisper of something new about to bloom.
In 2025, I didn’t paint as much just for myself. Much of my creative energy went into tending my shop, doing client work, and handling the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep my business growing and sustainable. It was important and necessary, but it asked me to show up in different ways.
2026 feels like a return to my creative spark. ✨ I have plans for so many new illustrations, for taking my work deeper and letting it stretch and evolve. I’m stepping into a new chapter online, moving my online store to Shopify, and making space for what wants to bloom next :)
I’m so excited to have you along on this journey with me.
Happy New Year, friends!
