SOCKS has been selected with six other films to be screened at the Il Pertini Cultural Center in Cinisello Balsamo, in Milan tomorrow. Assurdo FF (Absurd) is maybe one of the most appropriate festival for our film so we are really pleased to have been selected and to have it screened😅🥳🧦

Here is our Crimbo update on our short film 'SOCKS'. We are excited that it has won Best Comedy at the Sweden Film Awards, it also got picked for the Make Me Laugh Festival where Daryl Cockburn won Best Director.

We are also really delighted that it will be screened in London early next year, at the 2024 LFFI and that we have been nominated in 5 categories! So huge congratulations to the nominees - Most Outstanding Actor Paul Kozinski, Best Director Daryl Cockburn, Best Short Film, Best Cinematography Sean Campbell and Best Hair & Makeup Sam Brown. We also might be having a screening of the film in New York next year, more on that soon. 🧦🥳

An update: We won in Wales 🎉🍾

We have a few UK festival screenings of SOCKS over the next few days and we are also chuffed to have been nominated for a few awards! It will be screened at the Wales International Film Festival,where we have been nominated for Best Comedy🥳. It is also playing at the Oxford Shorts as well as the Short+Sweet Essex 2023 Film Festival where we have been nominated for Best Production and Daryl Cockburn has been nominated in both the Best Director and Best Writer categories🥳🎟🎉🕺

Just look how happy the cast are with this news!!!

We are over the moon that SOCKS has won 'Best Film' this time at the Night of Comedy Shorts 🥳🥳

It will also be screened at the Oxford Shorts (formerly The Oxford International Short Film Festival ) and the Short+Sweet Essex 2023 Film Festival next month. We also should have mentioned that it was screened at the European Short Film Festival earlier in the year as well. Just look how happy 'Morris' Paul Kozinski is with this news!

To say this has been a long time coming would be an understatement! We are glad to say SOCKS the short film is finished and here is a short teaser trailer!
