And that's a wrap for Cohort 5 of Making Creativity Works.
Our training programme funded by North East Combined Authority and delivered in partnership with Signpost Productions and Beacon Films CIC, supported by ITVAcademy
The final cohort got the chance to work with Network DoP Ross Marshall as crew on a promotional film and met Bethan from the ITV Academy who told them all about the great opportunities within ITV. Well done to all.

Students taking part in our training programme Making Creativity Works have moved onto the Advanced sessions of the course.
Their first workshop in Advanced Camera Skills was delivered by Industry experts including network Directors of Photography.
All training takes place at ITV in Gateshead.

A huge welcome to Cohort 5 of Making Creativity Works who start their training today. They'll spend the next ten weeks taking part in TV production skills including basic and advanced camera and edit sessions. They'll work together to create short films to produce their very own TV programme in the ITV Signpost Productions in Gateshead.

A fantastic day was had by all at the ITVAcademy Access All Areas day at ITV Leeds. Students from Making Creativity Works were invited along to gain valuable experience and an insight into departments and roles within ITV.
Students met with the Commercial team, the Emmerdale post production team, the Content Delivery team, took part in an Archive Tour and got to watch a Calendar News transmission.

Thank you ITVAcademy for such a valuable experience.

And that's a wrap! for Cohort 4 on Making Creativity Works. Students have been taking part in a week long intensive training programme to learn basic and advanced skills in camera, editing and studio presenting. Many of the students started the week by picking up a camera for the first time and it ended with them making a TV programme.
Well done Cohort 4. You've been amazing!
We can't wait to see what you do next 👏👏👏

Lighting and editing skills have been the focus of today's training sessions for Cohort 4 of Making Creativity Works. For many students this is the first time they have used a camera or tried editing. They're working towards creating a tv programme at the end of the week.
