‘The Christmas Pudding’
All finished and ready for framing and varnishing.
😊
……not as much progress today!
I just got the dogs painted, and I made a start on their jumpers.
I also drew all of the decorations that I’m going to paint on the Christmas tree more clearly, and started popping a few bits of colour on to it too!
This one is more fiddly…… and is taking a lot longer than I first anticipated, but I’m getting there!
I’ve been on my anti-viral/pain relief medication for a week now, and I’m feeling a bit better…so I couldn’t resist working on my painting again today.
I still have a bit of work to do, but I think I’m happy with it so far!
As I’m not able to do any painting at the moment, I thought you might like to see some of my old work?
So here’s a favourite from the archives!!
This one is called ‘Chicken Lady’ and pretty much sums up my dream garden….except there should be horses in the fields behind!!
Perhaps that’s another idea for a future painting????
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well?
I thought you might like to see the very rough start that I’ve made to my next painting.
‘The Christmas Pudding’
This is pretty much how all of my paintings start, as I like to cover my canvas in the pallet that I think I’m going to use…quickly! I call it my ‘plonking down colours’ stage! And I think I’m happy with it all so far.
Frustratingly though, I have come down with Shingles, which has knocked me for six, so I might not be able to get back to this one now until I’m feeling better again!! Which is always annoying when you are itching to crack on with a new piece.
So watch this space for the finished piece….knowing me, I’m sure I’ll try to sit at my easel and do some more work on it though!!! I’m such a fidget! 😂
I have new tea towel designs available too!
These are all now listed on my sh0p and in my retail sh0ps too!
This one features my painting ‘Sandy Paws’

I woke up this morning and noticed that I had gone over the 4000 mark in sales on my shop! 😀
So I just wanted to say an absolutely massive thank you to each and every one of you that has supported my small business by buying from my Etsy shop, craft fairs and retail outlets.
…….and an equally massive thank you to everyone who has supported me by liking, commenting and sharing my posts.
I honestly can’t tell you just how much this means to me!!
I started my art business a few years ago now, as a therapy to help me through some very tough and traumatic times, so to look at that number of sales on Etsy alone this morning, fills me with so much happiness and joy!
You are all so amazingly kind and supportive!
Thank you so much X🥰

I’ve been working on some thumbnails for a new painting idea in my sketchbook today.
I got inspiration for this idea when I was selling at the amazing Rural Life Museum in Tilford.
I was set up in a big barn there with a load of old buses and fire engines and it gave me the idea to paint an old bus filled with day trippers heading to the beach for a fun day out.
So here are some thumbnail ideas for the passengers on the bus! 🌞
I had a very exciting delivery today.
Some more of the ‘print on demand’ product samples arrived from the US …..and I am so happy with the quality of them.
Here’s one of them.

The perfect notebook for anyone who (like me) loves writing a list…..and loves dogs too!
My notebooks have a gorgeous glossy illustration front and back and are made of a tough Perspex so they are perfect for jotting down notes on the move too!

Just had a little re-stock of my shelf in the Craft COOP Camberley today!! So I thought I’d do a little video to show you the bits and bobs I have in stock there now. Please excuse my wobbly hand…my plaques are hung above my shelf and I’m only a shorty, so I was struggling to move them to show you the designs! 🤣
I thought you might like to see a video of me putting my new notebooks together. I’m so happy with the quality of these. They have a lovely, glossy, translucent cover which really make the colours pop and the print quality is excellent. The notebooks are A5, lined and are printed on the front and back covers. These will soon be available to buy in my Sh0p
