We're so chuffed to announce that 'Collection Only' has won two awards at the brilliant Welsh horror festival - Best Short Film (as voted for by the audience - thank you!) and the prestigious award!

The latter award sends our little short out to compete against other Méliès d'argent winning films in 2025!

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ What an incredible weekend! just had its world premiere on Saturday, at The Odeon on Leicester Square and the response has been beyond our wildest dreams! 🌟 We’ve been blown away by the amazing reviews, including a few 5-star ratings!

Well there we are then! The long overdue cast and crew screening of our first official feature length film, PROTEIN, went brilliantly on Saturday. Here’s the in-house producing team + online editor Alun (with only absent as he’s busy in prep for shooting later this month). Everyone in this team played a vital role in getting this film made against the odds along with the legends and . Here’s to the next and final leg of this film’s journey!

We’re very excited to finally announce that our first feature film ‘PROTEIN’ will take its first steps into the world this Saturday with the cast and crew screening in Cardiff! We can’t wait to show everyone involved what their hard work has achieved.

There’ll be plenty more announcements and new material being posted in the coming months, so make sure to follow on Instagram and Twitter to stay in the loop!

EXCITING NEWS ALERT!

We are thrilled to announce the delivery of our crowdfunding campaign for our new short film "The Stork", written by the hilarious Ronan McCabe.

"The Stork" follows the well-intentioned but clueless parents of a q***r woman who want to start a family via artificial insemination using Hungarian semen ordered online. When the delivery arrives, chaos ensues leaving our lovable characters in a hilarious and sticky situation that needs to be fixed before their daughter returns home.

Through miscommunication and misunderstandings, "The Stork" pushes moral boundaries, questioning just how far parents will go to secure their child's happiness. It's a comedy that tackles serious issues with humor and heart, showcasing the importance of unconditional love and acceptance within families.

The wonderful actor and producer Craig Russell, who has been a vital, positive and supportive part of our work and a good friend for the last few years, is in emergency surgery today for a recently diagnosed brain tumour. His recovery will be long and so to support him, his partner and kids, his friends have set up a GoFundMe page to contribute towards the cost of childcare, hotel hospital stays, mortgage, bills etc during this really difficult time where bringing in an income may not be possible. If you’re able to, please give what you can and share the link to support Craig and his family over the next few months.

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a fun New Year - we certainly did! As promised, here's Broadside 2022, complete with a new logo and ident! We've not really released much since 2017, but after several years in the depths of production, this is THE year. Over the next year (if all goes to our master plan) we will be releasing 2 feature films, "Protein" and "In Absentia", a sketch show pilot, "Stuff, Things & Sarsaparilla", and a short film, "Jackdaw", which will be broadcast on BBC Wales in the summer! Possibly a few more treats here and there too which we can't quite talk about yet...
