A very poptastic play list this evening packed with number ones from yesteryear as we (I, and possibly you three) celebrate tomorrow’s imminent 52nd birthday.
I’ll be playing some tracks that were number ones when I previously celebrated amazing birthdays - such as my 19th, my 8th and also my 14th. We’ll also play a few birthday number ones for our regular listeners which stretch back as far as 1958!
The Strenuous Link features two tracks that were number ones on my 23rd and 8th birthday. The link has never been more limp and it’s not that they were number one on different birthdays for me.

Wednesday’s show is my birthday eve. I’ll be playing tracks that were high in the pop charts from some of my best birthdays of yesteryear. Like my 42nd, 8th, 14th, 17th and 30th. About 3 to 5 of you will be devastated to hear I’m unable to do a live show this evening due to being in Norfolk for the majority of the day today. However, I’ll be back next Wednesday on the eve of being the oldest I’ve ever been (which is 52).
