Hi all, how are you? HOpe you've all had a lovely Easter and still able to move after all the chocolate.
Would anyone like to become an admin on this page? i'm juggling too many pies and pasties at mo as doing a health app (do ask me by DM if like?) and starting a business.
Mainly, it would be to ensure that all visitor posts get shared on the wall.
Also, reminder about Jam on Toast for all singer-songwriters in and around Falmouth, Tuesday nights from 9pm at Toast. Guy there called Dixie.
Lastly, I had a lovely bit of acknowledgment about my London band promotion days this weekend. In 1995 or 1996, I booked a night at the Mean Fiddler in Harlesden, London for 4 bands, The Promise, Santa's Boyfriend. Rank Palace and Basement and remembered that Sting's son Joe Sumner was in Santa's Boyfriend. He also played at the Laurel Tree in 1997. (Coldplay Enthusiasts may recognise that name and year - Starfish).
I said hello and "I booked your band Santa's Boyfriend 25 years ago at the Mean Fiddler" and he said "Sophie? Sweatman?" and we had a chat about music etc. At the time (Aged 26) I always worried I disappointed bands, but there you go.
