Screwfix one of the fastest-growing retailers in the UK, a true leader in the E-Commerce industry, and part of the 77,000 people strong Kingfisher PLC Group with a turnover £1.5 billion per year and over 12,000 employees. Responsible for creating the best possible content following brand guidelines and tone of voice. The work was closely linked to the rest of the marketing team internal communication key for the daily ex*****on of content and brand strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Proficient user of Sprinklr allowing for effective social media marketing, social advertising, content management, collaboration, advocacy and social media monitoring
Creation of fresh and relevant content on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
Creation and organisation of social media calendars for all relevant campaigns
Scheduling and proof-reading all content in advance.
Delivery of the social media strategy for all campaigns
Monthly reporting on all social media activity across all platforms. with a good understanding and knowledge of social media platforms
Strong interest in social media. Keeping up to date with all trends and bringing ideas and recommendations for further analysis and discussion.

Raleigh International, Tanzania. February 2018 – May 2018
A volunteer with Raleigh international the project worked together with local people on crucial community and environmental projects including bringing clean water to a local community, talking to people about important sanitation issues and protecting some of the world’s most vulnerable environments. I also got the opportunity to develop my teamwork and leadership skills on an exhilarating adventure trek.
Responsibilities and achievements
I was awarded a bursary for 50% of my charity target for this I had to submit a living CV and go through a formal tendering process and also fundraise. I organised and oversaw a metal detecting events for veterans with PTSD, called “Detecting for Veterans” on our farm.

Responsibilities and achievements
A proud moment was being selected to form a team of just 25 from 3000 applicants by News UK’s News Digital Summer Academy. This was an intense week run by The Times and the Sunday Times during which we were tasked to produce a multimedia digital news product; it was an incredible week that allowed me insight into Amazon Web services and a wide range of masterclasses. From this, I gained freelance work with The Sun.
