WHAT ARE THE RULES ON SQUARE, METAL PRESSED, JDM & STICK ON NUMBER PLATES HERE IN THE UK?

In today’s video, we take a look at the rules regarding square number plates, metal pressed number plates, JDM plates & stick on number plates ft MPS Owen Messenger from the Devon & Cornwall Police.

Hopefully in this video we have covered the points and questions that you raised in the comments of the video ‘2021 Number Plate regs’. If you haven’t seen the previous video then please watch it as it covers all the new BSAU regs for 2021.

DVLA have given us this information and it is correct as of 26/04/2021. As anything though it can change as things develop so please be mindful of this. The information in these videos is given in good faith with the information we have at the time.

We have added a small bit in the video to cover JDM import plates. We thought we had covered it in the filming but we have added it in as you will see. JDM Imports have slightly different regulations and/or amendments to the normal rules and they are similar to motorbike plates. Please click on the link below which explains these rules:
