The launch of To Keriolet Again by Séamas Mac Annaidh took place on Saturday 23rd August in Enniskillen Castle, drawing an appreciative audience of readers, writers and local supporters. I had the privilege of working with Séamas on the book’s design and typesetting, which was warmly received as he read extracts and spoke about the inspirations behind his latest work. Moving between Ireland and Brittany, the novel follows George Burdell to the Château de Keriolet, a house steeped in myth and memory, where he faces choices that echo the turbulence of the Russian Revolution and the Irish War of Independence.

On the back cover, Séamas writes: “Every house has its history, and its myths, but the Chateau de Keriolet in Brittany has more than most… To Keriolet Again is a novel in which something extraordinary happens, twice.” Acclaimed as one of the most important Irish-language writers of his generation, Séamas has published novels, short stories, translations, and works of history. The Enniskillen Castle event marked both the arrival of a striking new novel and the continuing influence of a central voice in Irish literature.

Got a really nice surprise today, a client arrived with a bowl of homegrown tomatoes from his garden for me 🍅. I was genuinely moved that he thought to bring them, and I was able to enjoy them for dinner this evening in a cheese and tomato sandwich. They were absolutely beautiful, and I’ve got loads more for tomorrow. ❤️

OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH MONEYGLASS

Designing the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Moneyglass book was both a privilege and a joy. The project combined the reverence of a faith-filled history with the warmth and humour that parish life naturally carries. From treasured photographs and parish records to shared anecdotes that have shaped generations, the design sought to reflect both the solemn beauty of the church and the vibrant character of the community.

At the same time, it was important to capture the lighter side—the smiles, laughter, and spirit of togetherness that make Moneyglass unique. Parish life has always been about companionship and humour as well as devotion, and the book’s design embraces that balance. Weaving moments of joy alongside reflection, the finished work becomes more than a record of history, it is a living celebration of faith, family, and friendship at the heart of Moneyglass.

Last night (15th August) I had the pleasure of attending the launch of Our Lady of Lourdes Church Moneyglass 1925–2025, a publication I helped design with the church’s book committee. It was a really enjoyable evening, and I feel privileged to have been part of such a meaningful publication and occasion.

For the 2025 Open Championship in Portrush, I designed a series of 16 interpretive panels for CCGBC (Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council) displayed throughout the town, celebrating its deep connection to the history of golf.

The project involved creating a visually engaging and cohesive design approach that unified archival photographs, historical narratives, and typography into an accessible and informative public display. Each panel was crafted to complement its surroundings while drawing visitors into the stories of Portrush’s golfing legacy.

It was a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a landmark event and help bring the town’s rich sporting heritage to life through design.

Our Story

If you have a design and print project in mind, large or small I would love to hear about it.

Established in 2007, I design and organise the printing of small and large format print items for my clients, including books, magazines, newsletters, leaflets, flyers and posters, logos, stationery and banners as well as many other design and print items. If you need something designed and printed, then I can do it.

I create every project with care and attention, and because I work with a network of quality printers I can always find the best print solution, turn around time and price for my clients.
