A dram with Stewart Walker from Fettercairn Whisky: ‘All whiskies have a home, there’s a whisky for everyone.' 🥃

Steeped in a rich history Fettercairn Distillery has seen a lot of change throughout the years.

This year the distillery celebrated their 200th anniversary with an ultra-rare collection of six malts with only ten released to the world.

A portrait of Robert Fergusson has been discovered at a Scottish castle and could help shed new light on the poet who inspired

It was found at Barnbougle Castle, near Edinburgh, and is part of a prestigious collection of the 5th Earl of Rosebery Archibald Primrose.

Previously only three known likenesses of Fergusson from his lifetime existed.

Two cuckoos tagged in Scotland earlier this year have successfully made it to tropical Africa... 👏🥳

Henry and George II were tagged at Dundonnell Estate in May and will now spend the winter months in Africa.

Henry has settled in the Central African Republic while George has landed alongside the Niger River in southern Niger.

A historic Scottish castle visited by Robert Burns could be in line for a major restoration after being sold to a new owner.

Baltersan Castle is thought to have inspired Charles Rennie Mackintosh and was visited by poets Burns and John Keats.

The Category A-listed castle has been abandoned since the mid-18th century, with several failed attempts to restore it to its former glory.
