Great to be back out travelling and working again over the last few days.

Incredible trip to Islay with the hugely talented The Rhythm and Booze Project supplying sound and streaming services for their whisky launch Live Stream from Islay House.

We also got to rip it up at Bruichladdich for their festivities, providing the bands livesound feed to bring the party to the people with the help of the awesome team at the distillery.

Very thankful to be working with some great people in an incredible place on some super projects after such a long time.

Really excited to share our first major location recording project of Jed Potts & the Hillman Hunters live @ CAR CAVE ,as part of the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival weekend.

Premiering alongside a live set from Gerry Jablonski Band featuring Blues Rock legend Aldo Nimmo, this will be an excellent night of music.

Massive thanks to Jed Potts for getting us involved in a very cool and unique project. We cant wait to see the results.

Also a big shout out to 8 Acre Films for making this look so good.

Had a blast recording Jed Potts and the Hillman Hunters in the epically cool CAR CAVE last week.

Some brilliant driving blues fused with classic rock 'n' roll and Americana.

Can't wait to get working on this for an upcoming video project.

Looking back at some of the more unique projects I have done, this probably has to be a highlight. Working with The Rhythm and Booze Project to help build and record the world's first whisky cask bass drum at the Lagavulin distillery on Islay.

Location recording like this on a fairly remote island presented its limitations and challenges but the outcome was way beyond our expectations.

Had great fun recording the whole process and a great time experiencing a truly magical part of the world.

Had a blast last night working with the awesome The Rhythm and Booze Project testing out some live stream production with a 350 mile gap between us.

6 whiskies in 90 minutes plus raw driving blues music is a great combination. ❤️🥃

We managed to get a great balance of mixed audio, multiple camera angles, song banners and social media interactions all completely live.

Just another service we can offer to get round the current restrictions for live events.

Usually around this time of year i would be preparing to got into pre-production with the enormously entertaining The Blueswater for string of shows in the wild ride that is the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

I dug this video out of the vault and its got me itching to get back out and do some location recording.
