Find out more about Children's Capital of Culture programme proposals next week!

You're invited! On Thursday 25 July 2024, the Children's Capital of Culture team are launching our open call for programme proposals for our 2025 festival year.

The event will take place from 1.30 - 3.00pm at Rotherham Town Hall, Moorgate Street, Rotherham, S60 2TH (arrive from 1.00pm for refreshments and music from a brilliant young Rotherham singer!). You’ll find out more about the decision-making process for our festival programme, hear from our Youth Programming Panel about what they’re looking for in people’s ideas, and get to speak to funders who could help support your proposal.

Freelance artists, community organisers, arts and culture organisations, and anyone who thinks they have an idea for a brilliant activity to be part of Children's Capital of Culture in 2025 are very welcome to attend!

What an incredible night it was! We are thrilled to announce that our Midnight Memory Walk 2024 was a massive success, with over 870 walkers stepping out to support Rotherham Hospice. Together, we have raised a phenomenal £71,500 (and counting!) 🎉
