SUNDAY SUMMARY - OUT AND ABOUT WITH MCLEAN MAGIC MEDIA

Absolutely love promoting Wishing Tree by the Sea on social media - especially their monthly food and craft markets.

This incredible market is an amazing addition to Dunbar and I can’t wait to next month already!!

Thank you to all the traders who were so lovely and excited to be back again - I love promoting their business every month and then meeting them at the market.

Our cats were the first to get treated when I got home thanks to Husse Edinburgh South Pet Foods - the cat treats and licki mat worked a treat 🐈‍⬛

Then enjoyed a cuppa with my delicious shortbread from The Bake Hive - melt in your mouth is an understatement 🥰

Sunday dinner was tasty chicken and leak pies from Charlie’s pies and pate.

And finally, at the end of the day, I saved the best till last. Rum and raisin chocolate from CocoaMania - it’s incredible.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH MCLEAN MAGIC MEDIA

The perks of my job is that I get to meet amazing people. Today McLean Magic Media is at Wishing Tree by the Sea’s monthly food and craft market meeting all the fabulous traders and sampling their amazing food.

Delicious pulled pork burger and drink from Barbarella BEETS and Beets Juice and doughnuts from Seriously Dough. All delicious.

Can’t wait to have my steak pie for dinner from Charlie’s pies and pate - they look awesome.

Cats even got a treat as I picked up some treats from Husse.

Event is on until 3pm so pop down to Lauderdale Park, Dunbar xx

If you are looking for something to do today why not pop down to ‘Sunny Dunny’ for amazing event.

Around 30 traders from East Lothian and Edinburgh will be there showcasing their amazing food and crafts.

Hungry? Barbarella BEETS will be there too and I can highly recommend their gourmet burgers and juices.

♥️ SOCIAL MEDIA ROAD TRIP ROUND UP - APRIL 2024 ♥️

I have just returned from a 12 day solo road trip and it was amazing 🤩

Initially the main reason for my trip was to see my daughter who is at university in Worthing and visiting friends along the way.

My trip turned into SO MUCH MORE than anything I could have ever expected!

My first stop found me visiting friends who run Top Riley Eyam which is the most beautiful spot for anyone looking to escape the pressures of life and explore the beautiful Peak District. With cottages available to hire, all with hot tubs, and having wonderful views over the surrounding countryside, this beautiful holiday destination is definitely on my “VISIT AGAIN” list. My next stop was Poult Wood Bar & Restaurant in Tonbridge, Kent. The perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea, steak night or their amazing Sunday carvery. Everything was just amazing and we had enough food from our afternoon tea to enjoy later. A delicious treat and always a stop for me when I’m visiting my friends who run this venue. When it’s warmer they have a raised terrace ideal for partaking in a refreshing cold drink while enjoying views over the 18th hole of Poult Wood Golf Course - but don’t worry if the weather isn’t quite what you need to sit out fully as there is covered seating areas too.

I then traveled to stay with my daughter in Worthing before heading to visit friends in Devon and Wales and then the long journey home.

When I returned I spent Friday evening with Barbarella BEETS at her Friday Night Supper Club. Whilst I know her food looked amazing from the posts I’ve been creating for her since March, enjoying it first hand was an absolute joy - can’t wait for the next supper club event.

The relaxation and social interactions over the time away stimulated my creativity, leading to new ideas and insights I can use in my social media business, McLean Magic Media, and how I want to grow this business.
