Throwback to the spectacular Transport News Scottish Rewards, supported by IVECO!
A fantastic celebratory breakfast event which took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on the 1st of December 2023 where the very best of the industry came together to recogonise those who had made an outstanding contribution.
These Rewards were extra special as several true legends of Scottish road haulage were awarded for their lifetime achievements to the industry - including our very own founding editor Alistair Vallance, for which this was his last time to host the event which he started back in 1994, as he is set to start his well deserved retirement in March.

Today we also celebrated the achievements of our very own founding publisher and editor of Transport News, Alistair Vallance!
Alistair leaves us in March to start his well-deserved retirement. He started Transport News in 1978 and has been an instrumental figure and well-known champion in the Scottish haulage industry the duration. His enthusiasm and determination has earnt him respect throughout the sector and we wish him the very best.
He passes the baton to Editor Kevin Swallow who will carry on his great work. Here's a great video wishing him luck!
