A primary school near me has taken the decision to rename their halloween disco to spooky disco. This move is to not upset those that do not typically participate in halloween and to be more inclusive. Ffs, this is a national annual tradition in the UK. I'll put money on it being parents and not kids that are causing an issue. How the hell these kids are going to survive in the REAL world when they're older is beyond me. Some people really need to get a grip. It's been the halloween disco for as long as they've hosted one!

HFSS this, Obesity rates that. Ffs what is with this agenda?!!! Its getting near impossible to get a soft drink now that actually has natural sugar in it and isnt 'sugar free', pumped full of artificial crap. The Government need to make a big U-turn on this (something they're usually good at) for the sake of the nation. Obesity putting strains on the NHS? What about all the other long term health problems that'll be caused by all the crap now going into our bodies? Its just swapping one concern for another more complicated concern. Even the EU isnt putting sanctions on the food industry like the UK. The Sugar tax needs scrapping! Natural sugars are far healthier for you and your gut. All of these winging woke brigades need to pipe down. What you put into your body is YOUR responsibility! Eat a balanced and varied diet, get some exercise, and you wont become obese, you'll feel far happier and healthier too.

A photo taken at the seaside in the 1970's. Just look at the lack of fat / obese people here. These were in times where you'd cook with fat/lard, everything was full sugar and portion sizes were large! There wernt really any diet alternatives or food full of artificial rubbish. The problem isnt down to high fats/sugar food, it's with people not taking responsibility for themselves and their health. The more the Governments push against HFSS foods, the more rubbish producers will fill our food with to compensate. These additives and artificial products can have far greater and more serious health risks long term. If the goal is to ease pressure on the NHS, put a premium on the service if your body fat % is over a certain level. People need to stop looking for someone to blame and take a look in the mirror. The responsibility sits solely with you.

Future prediction:

People wont actually own anything. Everything will be subscription/leased based. We're rapidly heading towards a cashless society, an increasing disgusting throwaway and entitled culture, and need to show status with the latest this and that push this idea. Prices of goods are skyrocketting to a point where leases/loans are the only means of affording their purchase. Even the most premium cars that cost £50k 5 years ago, now cost double that. BMW even hinted at having some of the optional extras like heated seats on a subscription basis rather than purchase. If we proceed down this route and end up cashless, the corporates and banks can rule.
