I’m extremely and very grateful to the fact that I don’t need to get up at a specific time to go to work. I can enjoy a lie in….

Whether that’s a part-time weekend job or during the week job.

My life’s been one of work, work, work in various rolls from PA to waitress & lastly running my own livery yard.

If I’ve needed money I’ve found a way.

As I’m now 60 I’m also wanting to enjoy an extra income while I’m semi retired and am setting the foundations to a successful online business.

Mummzie and I enjoyed a nice little tea and cake together in Shincliffe today before we say bye bye and she goes back to Essex tomorrow.

At 85 (very soon) she’s active, fun, loving and very supportive to all her children, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. No wonder she needed cake 🥳

Here’s a super lady I’d love to introduce you all too.

ELAINE HARE.

I’ve come to know Elaine Hare as an amazing and caring lady, a leader and mentor to her uk ladies group and to me as a true friend.

Her hubby Richard is her biggest support along with her daughter.

Elaine Is 58 and worked in an office environment working in various roles from secretarial to accounts and always gave her utmost to whichever employer she was working for, even to the point of only arranging her personal holidays dictated by the end of month accounts , so booking only the week prior for annual leave. She could never take two weeks together because she’d have too much work to catch up on when she return to her desk. Sound familiar?

Completely burnt out emotionally, destroyed by the lack of freedom and desperate to find time for her hubby, mum and horse, Elaine resigned. After 40 years that’s some big girl pants decision!

Elaine has been enjoying her self empowered led roll of affiliate marketer in the online world, and after achieving tremendous success, self worth and enjoying supporting her ever growing amazing team just knew the option to resign was a no brainer.

As she says, after 40 years in office work in the private legal sector the only thing she had to show for it was her chunky credit card debt 🤷🏼‍♀️
Does she regret it ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Why? Because as she shares “ it takes, on average, just 5 years to reach a level of income wayyyyyyyyyy beyond anything I could ever earn as an employee”. and the prospect of reaching legacy income passing her commissions to her daughter or a charity. Now that’s special 🌸

Elaine is such an inspiration, she has turned her 40 year employed lifestyle around, she has found fun in life, freedom to choose and now has her own Business fb group and successful enthusiastic team.

As Richard noticed within a few weeks of her resignation - he hadn’t seen her this happy for years.

Over the past four days I’ve spend most of it asleep.

Days I’ll never get back

For some unbeknown reason I suffered one of the worst migraine attacks I’ve had in years. I have nightly meds and also wafers I always have with me for when I feel one on its way…. And they work tremendously well. Thank you

But this one just lept up and grabbed be unawares, no warning, I just felt a little ‘off sorts’

So here’s what mine are like -
Imagine a vice pressing in hard on your temples….
Your skull split in two and a sword penetrating to your stomach
And a heavy mallet hitting your neck!

That’s pain, so excruciatingly painful the only respite is sleep.

In between sleeping there’s the bile vomiting episodes - I apologise for being so explicit but it needs to be known that the body makes lots of this vile stuff on these occasions which in itself puts more pressure on the head!

I become very Hypersensitive to noises, smells and sight.

I can’t focus mentally or visually.

The only way out is to sleep.

Following all this, when the pain eases there will be a day of what I call ‘The Hangover’ which is a bartered and shaking body with no energy and still rather a sore light headidness!

It’s all barbarically cruel and unnecessary - THREE days that will never come back to me.

There is good news though, so despite never being grateful for my migraines I can be grateful that I only experience one or two a year and not one a fortnight or month as in times gone by.

What triggers them, who knows, but hopefully I’ll experience them less and less and less and less.

60!
I keep saying it, and I’m thrilled to be 60!

Why? Because I’ve lived through a heck of a lot in my 60 years.

As a child I was skinny and shy and didn’t have any friends.

Dad had a mental breakdown in my teens and what a drama life was then! He fell off his pedestal and landed under my feet… any love or compassion I once had for him died.

I ran off with my first boyfriend at 17 and got married at 18. I always wanted to travel so I thought a soldiers wife was the route to happiness. Mental and physical abuse was the norm and my confidence was low , who was I? I had no identity, I was the WIFE OF Sgt 670. Following his affair I managed to break freeee 🎉

Uni followed in my 30’s & I met a man I fell in love with….. my package was two daughters and low self esteem.

Undoubtedly I had an amazing life but was always the under dog, the WIFE OF a successful businessman, following his affair I was broken , shattered. My self confidence was dead and I wanted to give up on life.

However, God had other ideas and I met my lovely Nick. I had by this time four children and four grandchildren which I felt was my hanging noose - nobody would want me!

How very wrong I was and in the time we have been together he has picked me up and glued the parts back together. I still look a bit like the old me but better.

What’s changed? His unconditional love and support for me. I’m no longer WIFE OF but a couple jointly supporting each other.

The other thing that’s changed is I’ve found myself fully immersed in an online business for me…. FOR ME, no more wife in the shadows!!! An online, freedom and confidence building business full of people from all walks of life making the rest of their lives the best of their lives.

I’m earning my own commissions, under my own strength BUT with the support of automation and teaching of the highest calibre.

I feel fulfilled, enlightened, confident and capable.

I’ve just turned 60 (just a number, trust me 😜) as you probably know and at any age starting a new business can be daunting and , to be frank, I was worried I didn’t have the knowledge or experience to succeed.

Oh boy, how wrong I was…..

Being part of a global community that lifts you up and celebrates the wins no matter how small is superb.

Being a team member and learning, laughing and sharing together is heartwarming and enlightening.

We are encouraged to contribute our wins and being part of such a fabulous and friendly group of ladies really is great.

I’ve got to 60 and can honestly tell you this is the best ‘job’ and the best people I have ever met. I’ve made a few really supportive and likeminded friends and that’s value in itself.

I really have learnt so much about myself over the past couple of months and shifted a few silly beliefs that I’m …… Not good enough Too old Not computer savvy
, not experienced enough. not liked !

Blah blah …. All rubbish. This business is for anyone and anyone can do it, it’s simple, it’s easy and it’s most of all fun.

Yes, of course you can! Don’t put off taking a look for yourself , what have you got to loose?

Ard Rock Mountain Bike Trials at Reeth, Swaledale…..

I’ve been corrected a couple of times as I like words pronounced correctly , it’s not Hard Rock it’s Ard Rock !!!

Off Nick and I drove to our favourite village in the dales, Reeth, where thousands will be competing, camping and basically destroying in three days the tranquility of the peaceful dales for fun and challenges. 😜

Do it 🎉

30k of quite mountainous terrain and 3000ft of climbing before woooooo 🚲 down they fly over obstacles and drops😳.

Stolen from someone but true -

For any of my non-equestrian friends who have seen the news….

It’s not what I do
It’s not what any of my close friends do
It’s not what my trainers do
At no point ever….have I behaved like that, not in temper, frustration - never.

Please don’t assume this is how horses are trained - please don’t think they have to be trained like this to get to the highest levels of our sports - it’s not. There are clearly a few bad apples but it’s not how most of us work - we build proper relationships with our animals and train them thoughtfully and carefully without force or fear.

My horses are my family. There is not a day when I think it is not an utter privilege to work with them, to love them and to be allowed to ride them.

It’s a sad day for our sport

think I’m a particularly useless lady because I’m constantly trusting people and really don’t have those thoughts to dislike or hate! I just don’t! Really, I do get frustrated with myself because I simply can’t find these emotions.

I get sad
I get happy
but I don’t get bitter, sour, hateful or angry! Sometimes I wish I did!!!

I always see the good in people and trust….. however this usually, ok, always goes against me and I find myself hurt again and again and again.

This has happened to me recently, it’s too personal to share the whys and who’s but seriously I can’t understand why im being treated this way by a person I’ve loved and known for years, when I’ve actually done nothing wrong. In my eyes I’ve tried to do absolutely everything possible to do the right thing- yet I’ve been made to feel discarded and cast away and ‘spiteful’, !!!

Me, really?

I’m leaving it all with The Lord and holding my head high with pride in myself that God and I know the truth.

Just wanted everyone to know that whoever has been in contact with me in the last 7 days should stay indoors and contact your nearest test centre. I’m so so sorry to everyone of my friends and family and those who have been in close proximity to me. I have had symptoms for a few days now and it has just been confirmed.

I'm so sorry but

I have been diagnosed with being immature, awesome, hilarious, and completely off my rocker. I was told there is no cure as of yet for all 4 of these symptoms. When I see this re-posted, I’ll know who has read this to the end. I know a few that won't let me down. 😷😎

GratiTuesday🫶

I’ve previously posted quite a bit about ‘Gratutude’, and in February this year I shared a chapter a day from the book The Magic by Rhonda Byrne, which I would thoroughly recommend to everyone x

The book is a 28 day focused gratitude to implement and practice.

My gratitude is because I have walked through very deep, dark and difficult times in my life -- I know not to take life for granted. I, from the depths of my soul, know the enormity of tremendous loss, scarcity, loneliness and pain.

I believe practicing gratitude every day can take you from feeling like a victim to more of being a victor. It does not negate what has happened to you - it just provides the possibilities of today and helps you to honor your life and the lives and memories of your loved ones.

Practicing gratitude every day is an art - a skill -- it takes a small amount of effort -- and when we practice, we will reap the rewards.

Even with all of my trials - I am eternally grateful for each new day, new journey and new beginnings.

My life has happened FOR me, to be grateful for the past and look forward to my future.

Today I am so grateful for all of my children. For the trials we have been through together, for the closeness of our family.
I am so grateful that I can support them on their journey through grief, happy times, trials and life.❣️

True gratitude brings peace, love, positivity,happiness and wholeness.🥰

There's something about slowing down enough to notice the details that makes my heart happy!

I have an interesting brain.
As a "sensitive," I notice *everything*, and I am affected quite literally by everything; moods, reactions, colours, behaviour.

Sometimes I’m far too sensitive.
I’m a high energy introvert by nature but can seem extroverted, this is merely a mask, hiding my insecurities.

I adore Beauty. I embrace the imperfections of our perfect world.
How nature is imperfectly perfect in every form.
It strikes me, everywhere.

All of it is Stunning & Intriguing to me.
It keeps me *endlessly* entertained,
noticing things.

Probably in the beginning this quality of mine may have been annoying to Nick, but he’s the same too. Hurrah 😃

"Oh look at this!"
"Ooooo look at that!!!"

And often we say the exact same thing at exactly the same time. Weird!

Now when we're out, he'll say to me:
"Do you see that over there!"
"Hey, did you notice that?"

This way, we're always expanding the Beauty of Life that we each soak in.

Cool. Exciting. Amazing.

I was fed up with only getting to ride my horse in the dark or at weekends!

I wanted to be free to ride when I wanted, but like you I was stuck at work, wishing I was with my horses rather than rushing my tail off trying to pay for them!

That’s when I started looking for another way. One that got me out of working long hours for my employers benefit and back in the saddle!

I was curious to know what my friend had found that gave her more flexibility and time to pursue her passion, horses! She introduced me to working in the online space, a place that women like you and me could learn how to build an income around me and my family and gave me my time back to ride my horse whenever I choose!
