Just finished editing one of our favourite shows as Flloyd takes us back with songs and stories from the London Folk Revival Critics Group of the late sixties featuring John Faulkner, Sandra Kerr, Bert Lloyd, Terry Yarnell and of course Peggy Seeger and Ewan McColl. I've sprinkled in a bit of Bjork, Nick Cave, Nick Drake, The Staves and I am Kloot for good measure!

Been in the studio this week with the effervescent Flloyd Kennedy and we've picked 3 wonderful tracks from Will Riding's great new album 'Downbeat is the New Upbeat'. It is well worth downloading from Bandcamp as it's a real joy!

Eurovision is coming to Liverpool! Who knew? (irony...) So I've joined up with a couple of fellow poets here to organise an evening of Ukrainian poetry, written by Ukrainians and - were possible - performed by them. If they cannot do it themselves, we will read it for them. Oh, and there will be music. Can you help us to raise the funds to pay for the hire of venue, technician and a screen, and to compensate the poets themselves? Anything you can spare would be most gratefully received.

Jackson Williams are playing Thornton Hough Village Club, 25th March, which we’re really looking forward to and we’ll also be taking a listen to their new release ‘Remember To Buy Yourself Flowers’ due out on 3rd March!
It was recorded Live at Theatre Twm o’r Nant in Denbigh and it is the first single from their Live Album, due out in May 2023. Got to support our brother and sisters from North Wales!!

Great local cause to contribute too!

West Kirby Live is aiming to raise funds and donations for Wirral Food Bank part of Some of you may prefer to just give a cash donation and this is very welcome as the money will go to Wirral Food Bank to be spent on what is needed most. We will also be selling raffle tickets (Prizes to be announced) to help raise vital funds.

For those of you who would like to donate items we have attached the latest wish list of shopping items from Wirral Food Bank, please note we cannot keep chilled or frozen items so cupboard items are best.

All of our venues will have a space for donations to be left and volunteers will be around to take cash donations and sell raffle tickets. If you can give some time to volunteer please get in touch.
