Officers have now reopened Trussel Road, Cwmbran following a road traffic collision earlier today where emergency crews were in attendance.

The road is currently closed, and diversions are in place which may cause congestion.

Some parts of Cwmbran are currently experiencing a power cut this morning (Tuesday 28th January).

National Grid are aware of this power cut outage which was raised at 8:44am this morning and their engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.

There are currently 774 properties off supply.

As of 9am, National Grid estimates that that power will be restored by:

10:30am this morning

These two females in the picture attached forgot to pay for some items before leaving a store in Cwmbran Centre today at approx 1:20pm on Saturday 25th January.

If they would like to return the goods, or return and pay for the items this will save Gwent Police and the company a heap of time in recovering the loss from these items.

CCTV has been shared with Cwmbran Centre security and Gwent Police officers who are looking into the movements of these two individuals.
