In celebration of releasing Bacchante Libations with Londam Music, ( and to get some practice in) I wanted to do a live jam / set.

Here we have the full set featuring

You will see that I've got a fair amount of work to do on track transitions, thankfully there are only three of those.

I streamed this live on Instagram, and why I find that useful is that I can't just stop and go back, you have to carry on. There is no stopping or starting and no room for chasing perfection. What happens happens, and should something go awry, its the getting out of it and carrying on which is where the real learning happens. That and remembering which clip does what, where, why, and how.

For a first full run through, I'm quite pleased with it.

In all, I spent two 4 hour sessions breaking down tracks and creating the live set project, and another session figuring it all out adding FX Racks etc. and then went live.

During the second session, I realised that having each track in their own group was not worth the hassle, and created too many situations where I'm flicking between pages and getting lost, so I found a way to get them almost all in a single page view ( just about).

Originally, each track had a different kick, but this made for a really inconsistent feel, so I scrapped that and used a single kick throughout, and that worked really well, and similarly, sharing other percussive elements here and there helped maintain a built sense of familiarity.

And there we have it, when you see me do this in the flesh, i assure you it will be a tighter experience. :)
