Hey there followers!!

I’ve not been here much recently because I took a maternity cover job working in communications for a local council for a year. When I am busy my own comms tends to be first to slip. Who’s with me?

It’s been great applying my skills in a different way over there and it’s taught me how much I have learnt since I last worked in a similar role over ten years ago.

I’ve picked up a few freelance gigs again recently and will be back sharing some info about them very soon.

Until then… remember change is as good as a rest!

Typically I love telling stories with words, but I do also love a good photo.

So I am very pleased to share the news that, after attending a Street Photography workshop on a very wet day late last year and continuing to shoot images for a few months after, one of my photos of Coverack Old Post Office has been selected to tour Britain as part of a street exhibition titled Picturing High Streets.

So sad to hear of the passing of Mary Wilson. She was a proper diva, an absolute trooper and a delight to look after when we launched The Supremes exhibition in Blackpool back in 2008 when I used to deal with the celebs.

One of the most stressful celebrity PR gigs I ever did due to logistics of getting her over from the States but also well worth it!

Fur coats, ladies what lunch and super fans.
