Two of the people on board were taken to hospital for treatment after the accident.

The northbound between J13 and J12 is currently closed due to a police led incident. All emergency services are either en route or in attendance including Traffic within the closure has currently been stopped prior to the scene. GLOS POLICE have said: "This relates to a male falling from the bridge near junction 13. Air ambulance on scene. We will update when possible."

The fire is now under control, but you may see some residual smoke in the area into this evening."
