It’s National Simplicity Day so we thought we’d share a little tip with you.

One of the first things journalists are taught is to tell a story as though you’re telling a mate down the pub.

They’re often taught to: Keep It Simple Stupid or KISS for short, meaning to keep stories concise and easy to understand.

And did you know the phrase is based on a US navy term – highlighting how systems should be kept simple.

It’s the 9th annual Staffordshire Day – a day set up in 2015 to celebrate this fantastic county of ours and we are proud to work here.

We are based in DaisyBank House in Cheadle. It’s a small market town near Alton Towers Resort and is famous for being the home to Pugin’s Gem (St Giles Catholic Church). It was designed by Augustus Pugin, who designed the interior of the Palace of Westminster!
