Our top 3 favourite things to borrow from are:

🍦 The ice cream maker - it's super easy to use and we made way too much vegan ice cream!
🍲 The slow cooker - it's a big help when we hold shared meals and workshops
🍿 The projector screen - perfect for a movie night

If you fancy FREE borrows from the Library of Things then why not become a volunteer with them? They currently need help with...

- Lending a hand alongside staff in the Library of Things for an hour or two.
- Helping staff outside of those hours, for pop ups and one off events
- Volunteer drivers for our deliveries: electric van supplied
- Cargo bike deliveries: training provided and bike provided
- PAT testing our electrical items: training provided
- Social Media
- Flyer and poster delivery
- Maintenance - are you good with your hands?

Just 2 weeks to go until The Big Splott Seed Swap at Railway Gardens!
💚Saturday 15th February, 11am-2pm💚

This year we have a new 'mini market' with local businesses selling seeds, plants, dried flowers and even gorgeous terrariums! So not only can you get stocked up on free seeds from the swap, you'll be able to browse these lovely stalls for treats and gifts. 🌱💐

Remember you DO NOT need to have brought along seeds for swapping in order to take seeds home - everyone is welcome to take seeds.

You can drop off donations of seeds or gardening books, tools, and equipment any time between now and the event during our opening hours - no pots though please, we have LOADS!

I think this in the Netherlands. Built next to the recycling centre. The traders get the pick of the discarded stuff that can be resold or upcycled.

🌱 Grow some of your own food and help create a resilient seed sharing culture for Cardiff at our Seed Swap (FREE! You can take home seeds whether you brought any for swapping or not).
💚 Share your worries, your anger, your hope and everything else you're feeling over a cuppa at the Climate Cafe (Free).
🌍 And learn to facilitate a powerful engagement tool, known as a Climate Fresk, to help kickstart solutions focussed conversations in your community, workplace, or anywhere else!

Our Winter Fair with may not be able to go ahead as planned on Saturday due to the storm, but we are so happy to invite you to a magical night market! Thanks to everyone involved being so supportive, we’ll still have wonderful stalls, performances and food and drink on offer! Come on down to Railway Gardens Wednesday from 5pm!🎄🌠💜✨
