Whilst I specialise specifically in video production, photographers & videographers both tell stories through the lens of their cameras 📷

But it’s so much more than someone picking up a camera, hitting record and documenting the day from start to finish. Of course, anyone can operate a camera & even learn the basics. Recently had the pleasure of being best man for my brother’s wedding(s) 💍

To officially tie the knot, Sam and Izzie had an intimate ceremony at The Lanesborough, with only close family in attendance - with their bigger wedding happening the following Saturday.

I was asked by Sam (last minute, as per usual 😂)to film the ceremony, and with what limited equipment I had with me (a single camera set-up, 55mm lens, lavelier microphone and a tripod) i’m happy with the outcome! It was difficult to leave my camera as I sat down, attending the ceremony as a guest & getting involved with the celebrations - so look out for the cameo appearance!👀

So glad my brother and Izzie have this and their longer film to remember their day by! & shot their proper wedding on the Saturday and i’m so excited to see her amazing work 🙏🏻

Bethan & Joshua’s Wedding Highlight Trailer 🌅

This wedding from start to finish was fantastic… Gileston Manor is a venue that will be tough to top in South Wales. Incredible venue & location!

The day was full of laughter and some surprises such as The Singing Waiters and the speeches that followed were brilliant. As always, lovely to work alongside as second shooter, always delivering the cinematic goods! Was great to work for the first time with and hope to work on another wedding with you in the future 📷

All round brilliant day and it was a pleasure to be a part of it!

Although the pandemic has held us back from filming your weddings, we have been putting our energy into networking with fellow creatives - photographers, videographers - and others in the wedding industry, including wedding planners, MC’s and caterer’s. Thanks to our connections, we feel more integrated into the industry and this puts us in better stead moving forward.

We have also upgraded equipment in the sound department, to wirelessly capture audio to further improve on our unobtrusive style of shooting weddings. We’ve upgraded our gimbal - which is incredible & we now have access to a drone for those cinematic opening, aerial shots of your chosen venue.

We’ve all heard the good news about lockdowns lifting which comes as such a relief. Just thought i’d try and explain it to brides and grooms in Wales & England that may not be sure about current restrictions/how the news affects their wedding days.

Note: The rules are to be reviewed in Wales on the 12th of March, so whilst its unlikely for there to be huge changes, couples in Wales can remain hopeful 🤞🏼

To the couples that have booked with me that haven’t already postponed, i’ll happily rearrange your dates if you decide to postpone your wedding day to a later date

2020 is definitely a year to forget. Weddings/events are extremely challenging to cover this year with the everchanging restrictions, local lockdowns and new rules. So we are looking onwards and upwards to 2021, where we wish everyone in the wedding & creative industry all the best and the same sentinment to all future bride & groom’s of 2021 and beyond - we have our fingers crossed that things can operate smoothly once again 🤞🏼
