A welcome break in the weather yesterday, and a much-needed blast to the coast on the gorgeous knockabout. Love this thing, and it's inspring me to get back to my main machine rebuild, just as I'd hoped.

Another finished guitar project. Such an attractive, comfortable, and fast guitar, not to mention incredibly versatile with genuinely usable coil split via a push/push volume pot. This thing absolutely wails, but I'm equally in love with the split tones.

Spent most of the day at the business end of this guy and a couple of his pals recording a super-fun bluegrass instrumental and generally having a riot/loving my job. I don't think I'd ever pointed a KM184 at a banjo before today. A ribbon would be my usual go-to, but the beautifully engineered Neumann gave me precisely what I was looking for, on that and everything else I threw at it.

The 4th and final episode.

Despite the whole current situation meaning I didn't to get to actually meet/hear/record the fast man and this remarkable feat of engineering , I'm still so grateful that I could contribute music/post for this wickedly kick-ass project. I'm even more grateful that I got to work once-more with the embarassingly-talented group of individuals and dear friends that made it happen and made it be.
