Another draughty door!! All weather strip images are from Toolstation UK - and is probably where I got my original pack from!

These can be used to replace door and window seals, or like I'm doing, sticking to the frame. Just make sure if you are going to stick extra seals on the inside of the frame that the door or window can close fully!

This is temporary for me as we are getting all our windows and doors replaced soon ๐Ÿ˜

This is such an easy DIY anyone can do, do your doors need this?

I didn't appear in the episode but I had a great time doing a weekend shift at Bracknell back in March. I had used up all my annual leave so I set off at the crack of dawn to arrive on site for 7am on Saturday. I helped plasterboard the upstairs bathroom, insulate and plaster Sienna's dance studio and then sand all the printed text off the fence battens and then route all the edges. We went through all our batteries and then some other people's DeWalt ones too ๐Ÿ˜… it's so fulfilling to know you've helped a family in need who need it most ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป Tune in to my next episode for the Children in Need build!

Which one was your favourite? My wardrobe is mostly messy clothes, some office clothes and a fevw "nice" clothes. And lots of beanie hats, it's now time for beanie weather! And occasionally do wear a dress! This was to my work awards night (no wasn't nominated, just went for the ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿ๐Ÿฎ)
Happy Monday!

September was an awesome month - DIY SOS plus starting and finishing a project! A long awaited one too. I can't wait to see the Children in Need build on TV very soon ๐Ÿ˜โš’๏ธ I can't wait to see what projects I'll be writing about in October's edition ๐Ÿ˜

Friday day 5 and we are done!! These oven gloves have nowhere to call home so a hook is required! I hope I maybe inspired a couple of you to pick up a tool and get that DIY job done! If you enjoyed this series, you'll definitely enjoy Newrutzen's page of How Long Does It Actually Take? videos. I love them a lot ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป Happy Friday!

it's THURSDAY aka day 4 of hanging things on my walls every day this week. "This week" is that the working week or do I have to do this for 7 days? Asking for a friend ๐Ÿ˜… today's wasn't too bad, the most tricky thing was getting the second shelf level with the first! And tell me about your little DIY jobs - how long have you been putting them off?

it's WEDNESDAY aka day 3 of hanging things on my walls. This threw me a few curveballs! I did not think there'd be wires directly behind the unit!! I think it's an old shaver socket so I'll probably put that back. My lovely new cabinet that I bought months ago, that came in a rectangle box ... was not already constructed. I love flat pack! Well, normally I do, but I wasn't expecting to do it when I was already rushing after work ๐Ÿ˜… And Then! The mounting hooks weren't even on the unit so I had to hang the brackets at different heights to counter it! Hope tomorrow's "hang" goes better ๐Ÿ˜‚

it's TUESDAY that means day 2 of hanging stuff on my wall. Today is my hallway mirror. The big hooks were buried deep in some random moving boxes. But I found them! Guess who should have got the big level out instead of eye balling the hooks? ๐Ÿ‘€ That's why I'm DIYโœจishโœจ

Or so thought there was a nest that had fallen out. Looks like it was actually a bat box due to the bottom entry. Don't worry - contacted the council and wildlife trust who look after this woodland and they didn't mind me repairing it as it was an old one that they weren't tracking. Come back for part 2 to see what else am making!

Photo dump for May! We finally moved house ๐Ÿฅณ And now I can start on the huuuuge DIY project list ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป I've started on the kitchen and the garden, I've also got a tap to replace and a bathroom cabinet that is doing my head in... You'll see why when I get to it! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Hopefully you've had a fab May as well. Really looking forward to getting projects done, summer evenings and settling in this month โ˜€๏ธ
