Have you ever wondred why you never see TV presenters wear stripey clothes?
It's because striped clothing can create a weird optical effect called a moire pattern, where competing patterns compete with each other for visual dominance, making them 'dance' or 'zigzag' on screen.
It's the same when you're creating videos for your business so we highly recommend that you avoid stripey clothing, especially if they're black and white stripes because of the contrast, and ideally anything that's highly patterned.
Stick to solid plain colours but consider brighter colours to make you stand out and capture people's attention in their newsfeeds. Red, bright blue, yellow and pink are all good choices.

To celebrate the arrival of a new treatment at The Beauty Studio, not only did they have cake and bubbles but they commissioned a video too!
This is the perfect way to showcase your product or service. No-one likes to be on camera, even more so when you're laying on a bed having a treatment. It's quite a vulnerable position! But we're very discrete and sensitive to the situation so you'll barely notice we're there.
All the footage was shot in one take - nothing was staged (ok, walking over the carpet was staged!)

Something a little different today - here's a moody brand shoot that we did last year.
Ice rinks aren't the most visually pleasing places but we managed to use the blue lockers as a background and some moody lighting to get a really please effect.

The tape markings are down and we've checked to make sure that its a minimum 2 metres between where you'll be standing in front of the green screen and where we'll be standing behind the cameras.

Here's an example of some client video that we shot.
The whole shoot took less than 3 hours including setting up and packing away so even if we're doing a location shoot, it doesn't have to be intrusive on your time or company operations.
Nobody in the video was very keen on being on camera, but they understood it just needed to be done and got on with it. You'd never know that from watching the video!

Did you know we sponsored some football coaching kit? ⚽
We did a fun teaser video emulating Sky Sports or MOTD style adverts to show off the kit. Having an idea from something you've seen on telly can help formulate your ideas and there's nothing wrong with takin a bit of design inspiration! Why reinvent the wheel?!
