5 things you need to start your podcast:

✨ if you want your message and knowledge to reach the right people, you need to answer a couple of questions: WHO your ideal listener is, and WHAT will you talk about? What are their problems and pain points? What is your zone of genius, and how may it help your listeners?

🎙🎧 EQUIPMENT - external microphone (don't use the laptop build-in one), headphones (preferably noise canceling), laptop, and software to record and edit. There's plenty to choose from, so you don't need a high budget to start.

💻 HOSTING PLATFORM to store and manage your media files online. Again there are plenty to choose from (Libsyn, BuzzSprout, Pod Bean...), so do your research and select the one that fits your needs.

📝 PODCAST GRAPHICS and COPY eye-catching podcast art, podcast description, and episode show notes. Create templates to make your life and workflow easier.

💎 STRATEGY and PATIENCE - good strategy and podcast project management will keep you on track, help you stay consistent, and grow your audience. There are so many podcasts that stopped after a couple of episodes...don't let yours be one of them!

IF YOUR BUSINESS IS ON Pinterest YOU WANT to know THIS 👇

Yes, the Pinterest algorithm has changed a lot lately and Pinterest gods requires us to publish fresh, exciting content.

You can try different actions to grow your account and traffic:

👉 refresh your old content with new photos, pin titles, and captions
👉 present your content to the new audience (think who else can be interested in your content, what they may search for that is relevant to your product, update your post/article with a decent piece of content that appeal to the new audience)
👉 think of the life events that your pin and content may be relevant to
👉 however lovely it is creating branded pins, if you want to get more traffic, sometimes you need to change the look of your Pins and check what works best. It will not harm your brand!

The algorithms changes all the time. We can sit down and cry over our dropping stats or EXPERIMENT and TRY NEW WAYS and actions.

Wrong! There are so many reasons you should be adding subtitles to your videos. To mention one - it increases the video watch time and engagement!

I know that it requires extra time and work, but several ways help you automate the process - check the photos for info.

I spend a lot of time on social media at my work. But I try to commit to at least one of that advice. And how many of these you plan or already implemented in your life?

Taking time off from social media is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

There can be a lot of positives if social media is used intentionally, but most of us have no clue that this is our biggest addiction and it’s the reason why we can’t focus on your goals and dreams. It’s impossible to log on and not start comparing yourself, or waste hours that you’ll never get back watching dance challenges on Tik Tok.

I believe the secret in life is being intentional about what you’re doing and using any vice in moderation. These simple tips have helped me be more intentional and have subsequently lowered my social media intake drastically. I’d tell you to get off it entirely, but we all know none of us are doing that 😉. That’s why creating boundaries with yourself is the only thing that will make a difference.

WORKING FROM HOME WAS A NIGHTMARE for me at the beginning.

I was rubbish at working from home. Doing everything took me ages!

The good thing is we can quickly become more productive when we use some hacks and organize our office, work, day, tasks, etc.

What works for me is:

✅ planners and to-do lists became my best friends
✅ I put my phone away
✅ I set the time limit to complete the task
✅ I try to batch my work - a day for content planning, 50 pins or 15 graphics for client's content
✅ I found out the best time to work for me is morning and late evening
✅ I try to control my perfectionism, so it doesn't stop me from having the work done

I used to say "I am so busy!". Do you do the same? 🤷‍♀️

The truth is my time management sucked 🤦‍♀️

I spent so much time doing things I shouldn't, like scrolling my social media.📲

I planned too many things to do, and I ended up doing nothing. 📃

I wanted to do everything by myself instead of asking for help 👩‍🔧 , even when I knew I am not qualified to do it. I was so Miss Independent (nope🙅‍♀️)

✅ give yourself 15 minutes to check your social media, then put your phone away (on the other end of the room) and work on your stuff! Get the 💩done!

✅ plan 2-3 big to-do things for a day. Max! You won't complete 10 and will end up feeling guilty. Complete your 2-3 daily goals, and feel proud.💪😊

✅ hire the VA and delegate! 🙋‍♀️ Leave for yourself all the things you love doing, that are super important for building your business and are congenial with your skills.
