Christmas posting dates for The Lions' King!

We've had some fun promoting a book so far, but this is the serious bit... The Lions' King has given Bryan a platform to speak out on the subject of the illness affecting far too many from his generation. And there's more to come...

Quite simply, until the entire football family - and not just the families and the fans - starts looking after its own, the glory of 1966 cannot and must not be mentioned without recognising the shameful fact that many of that team had to sell their medals to pay for their care.

But it's not just about the 1966 side, it's all those players from that generation that put their bodies on the line for the sport of football and now need help...

It touches all clubs and lost the fearless Alf Wood only this year...brave and majestic in the air, but finally taken by dementia in April following a twelve-year battle. How bittersweet to now see him in action in his pomp.

Meanwhile, the family of another great forward from the day, Chris Chilton, has had to resort to crowdfunding to pay for his care.

This is a scandal and we're proud to back Bryan's efforts to bring it to an end, all of us standing on the giant's shoulders of the
and , without whose tireless campaigning this would still be football's hidden shame.
