MBUK, the UK's best selling mountain biking magazine, has launched Ride Together, a national campaign in partnership with bike brand Nukeproof and su***de prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably. Ride Together is a series of group rides designed to raise awareness of CALM’s lifesaving work and enable riders to create a network of like-minded people to head out with for a mood boosting ride.
 
Ride Together’s guided and supported group rides take place in well-established trail centres in Wales, Scotland and England, with the aim to bring together riders – whether beginner or experienced – in a relaxed environment where there's not only the chance to ride but also time to chat over a brew and benefit from the services of CALM.
 
Alongside the group rides, those registered will receive a series of curated email newsletters, designed to create a sense of community, that will include content from all partners covering the benefits of riding, practical tips to get the most out of mountain biking and ideas for the best places to ride with a group.

June was a busy month for our IM Proud network! As part of our Pride celebrations, the group kicked off Pride Month with a round table discussion about Coming Out at Work. Joining IM Proud co-chair Matt Trask (He/They) was Ethan Roberts (He/Him), Moray Laing (He/Him) and Shane Quinn (He/Him). They shared their individual experiences and challenges with coming out in the workplace. and helped offer ways that allies can better support their LGBTQ+ colleagues in their coming out journeys.
 
IM Proud hosted a second panel at the end of the month in collaboration with the IM Family network on the topic of parenting. Coming from different perspectives and backgrounds, the panellist’s Dan Kramer-Arden (he/him), Emma Cooney (she/her) and Sinead Williams (she/her) joined Lizzie Finch (they/them), IM Proud co-chair, to talk all about inclusive parenting and the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and judgement-free space for future generations.

Thank you to everyone that joined us for our first Our Day. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves, whether you were climbing a historic harbour crane, being dazzled by Lady Imelda, sampling artisan cheeses, muddling cocktails, escaping a locked room, bowling, playing social darts or board games, discovering secret Bristol on foot, watching Top Gun in the city’s smallest cinema, learning sleight of hand magic, exploring your creative side during the interactive life drawing class or simply taking some time for yourself. We hope you also had a good chance to catch up with friends and colleagues in the sunshine, and hopefully met some new people too!
