In 2017, an area in Whitchurch, dubbed as 'The Screeching Serpents of Shropshire', was the site of an unusual occurrence that seemed straight out of Jurassic Park. We keep hearing eachothers voices calling, but the owner of the voice is never at home.About a month ago I was having dinner with some friends from uni when mum messaged me asking if I was at home. I raised an eyebrow and simply said “no mum, already at uni”To which she replied “oh, I just heard you call me from your room haha”.Then, few days ago my sister called me while I was out for groceries with mum. Her voice was a bit too frantic for my taste. She asked where we were, if we’re close to home or if we’ll be there soon. When I ask why she is so nervous, she tells me that “I just heard mum’s voice calling me from her room, then heard you say my name right behind me”.Just yesterday I was cleaning my room and heard dad call me, but he had left for work about an hour prior to that, and since my room is so close to the front door I definetly would’ve heard if he came back.#scarystories #creepystories #redditstories #spooky
