RIP of fame.

Kirk and myself were very sad to hear about the loss of guitarist, .

Jack played with the band at the height of their success. He played on the Brothers In Arms LP. Toured the globe and played .

This episode is one of my favourites. Jack was a very modest man. Loved literature. Was a success in music and in other areas and was very honest and open, particularly about the tragic loss of his daughter.

Announcement.

They say all good things have to come to an end!

After 2 years and 118 interviews, I’ve decided to call it a day!

Your Take was a project Kirk Stacey and myself set-up during lockdown. It was a spin-off of some interviews we had done when we ran CineMe years back. We wanted to interview people in-depth, from all walks of life about their lives, careers and their journey along the way.

An intended short term project that turned into a long term project! We got to interview some of our idols and speak to some interesting and inspiring individuals.

How we ever reached 118 interviews in 2-years, I’ll never know!

I need to thank Kirk Stacey for all the brilliant caricatures of all the guests and making the channel stand out. Martin Page for his kindness and encouraging us all. Christine Havrilla for her help and getting us in contact with so many musicians. Peter Strobl and SONiA disappear fear for all their support and contacts and Leo Sayer for being such a gentleman.

Thanks for all your support. Thanks for watching the channel. Of all the projects I’ve worked on this was the one I enjoyed the most and it all felt very natural. A big thanks to Rob Davies for the Chuck Berry inspired title music.

She started playing piano at the age of 3. Aged 5 she won a scholarship to Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She’s performed all over the globe. Performed over 250 consecutive concerts from her London home during the global pandemic. Received the British Empire Medal for her services during that time.

Experience Liam Wakefield's fascinating story of how he's used his music as a therapy to help tackle depression and his ill health.

Liam spent 11-years serving in the Army with the First Battalion Princess of Wales Regiment in Afghanistan. He was discharged from the Army on grounds off ill health, which left him in constant pain and his eye sight to deteriorate.

Since leaving the Army, Liam has become a professional musician. He writes, composes and performs his own original songs and has collaborated with a high callibre of musicians including Country artist, Jessica Lynn Music.
