Justice for Bristol Protesters have launched a petition to the Home Office asking for the inquiry, motivated by what they say was “excessive violence” meted out by the police against protesters at the demonstration outside Bridewell police station on March 21, 2021.

Since July 2022 a weekly food club has provided a lifeline for residents around Eastville Park. Pamela Nova visited to speak to volunteers and members and explore the line between volunteering and activism.

Head to the harbourside on Monday evening to see the arrival of the ship Handala, which kicks off 10 days of films, talks and music to mark 16 years of the Gaza blockade.

"We are watching you!" Campaigners warn Bristol Airport amid concerns the airport will not stick to the terms of it planning permissions in upcoming expansion.

A crowd of 40 people gathered on the roundabout at the entrance to Bristol Airport on Wednesday to protest the expansion of the airport and to demonstrate their vigilance in ensuring the airport sticks to the conditions of its planning permission.
