Hey peeps

So In prep for the new series
I'm looking to speak to social workers, care leavers, people that have been adopted out from care, any one that stayed in a looked after environment by that I mean group homes, weekend/respite care.
Any one that is experiencing the social system now being in care or looked after that would like to share their story.

I'd also like to speak people who have connections but have not been a part of it maybe your sibling/family member/ friend was looked after.

When you understand the feeling of having no support network, No family or friends. Not knowing who to ask for help you, provide it all because I am aware how lonely and empty it can feel.

Be the support network you wish to have had when you needed it!

Sometimes is helping a friend paint a room or just sitting with them in silence! Support generally cost nothing.

Why am I doing this podcast?

I want to get some personal growth and understanding, I feel like alot of people have had the same experiences as me and May be would like to explore that.

I want to normalize conversations that give people the space to freely explore all aspect of their childhood, community links and how it made them feel and shaped their outlook on life.

So that requires for me first to be open, honest and authentic about my self and how I feel about things. Which in turn I hope will let people know they are not alone.
But also creates that open space for other people to talk it out
