’25 has been an amazing, if sometimes challenging year. Incredible adventures, stunning locations, and the chance to make programmes with some truly talented people.

Now it’s time to slow down and spend some proper time with the family. See you all on the other side. a

Filming out in Tenerife for a major travel series and it’s blowing 30mph winds at the moment. Usually I’d have a Cinela Pianisimo with me for this kind of extreme weather but we’re travelling super light and couldn’t sacrifice the case space. I’ve been lucky enough to work with Michael many times over the years, and you’d be hard pressed to find a more decent, generous, and genuinely engaging human being. I was lucky enough to be part of the European leg of this series which at times felt like a family road trip, complete with a sneaky day trip to Pompeii on a travel day. So it’s with a heavy heart that I post this TX card for the final series. Good times indeed. and Matt Ainsworth.
