West Sussex Taxi Drivers Forced to Accept Card Payments! 💳

Taxi drivers licensed by a council in West Sussex may soon have to allow customers to pay by card. During a meeting of Mid Sussex District Council’s licensing committee on Monday, members were told 21 complaints had been received in the last 12 months about drivers only accepting cash.

A recent survey by The Health Foundation reveals that while artificial intelligence (AI) could play a "significant role" in easing NHS pressures, opinions are mixed. Some are excited about the potential benefits, but many remain unconvinced. According to the survey, there are concerns that AI might lead to clinicians missing errors and that the technology could create distance between healthcare workers and patients.

Key findings include:

76% of NHS staff support AI for patient care, while 54% of the public agree.
81% of NHS staff are in favour of AI for administrative tasks, with 61% of the public supporting this use.
