Hey guys, don't know if you do follow my recovery however during my time off work i have gained some qualifications as an opposition scout and writing reports which has been amazing for my mental health and also something different which could be a career change as well.

I've gained these certificates from the Professional Football Scouts Association, AFCAS, FA and attended a workshop with the ISPO.

So proud of myself and got to level 2 with the PFSA which is awesome also.

I am doing ok and recovering well through physio.

On another note i have been let go from my job on medical grounds and can not say how much I appreciate my workplace did for me.

I hope to be streaming alot more as well, I've missed it !

I usually share a load of crap on here, stuff about family but today is just something that I have been going through the last 7/8 years.

I may look healthy on the outside but the truth is I've had spinal surgery in 2017 to stop any kind of paralysis, a condition called cervical stenosis or brown sequard syndrome, it causes loss of sensitivity and feeling to parts of the body depending on where it is on the spine.

However 4 weeks ago i had my second operation further down my spine and also it may be another 2 operations on my spine in the future it's a condition that's not going to get better but to be operated on to prevent more damage.

My life has taken a turn and have to take things slow, this includes golf and even racing.

Its a life long condition and hidden disability which I didn't wanna have but it's seems like I've put my body through the ringer throughout my life!

Nadine, Angela (future mum in law), Jo amd even my dad Ian have told me to take it easy so i think it's time I listen to my body and people close to me that I can't overdo things now.

It will take some time to heal but I'm sure I can play golf soon to get out and have a walk, for now it's rest and recuperation for me.
