Ingredients for gyoza
Cabbage, salt, Minced pork, Ginger, Garlic cloves, Spring onion ,Asian sesame oil, White pepper powder,Sugar or Mirin, Dumpling wrappers
How to frying and steaming Gyoza
1. For frying and steaming gyoza, use a non-stick frying pan with lid.
2. Heat the pan to high temperature, then add some oil 2 tsp.
3. Put the gyoza (12) into the pan, wait until bottom of the gyoza to brown for 1-2 minutes.
4. Pour 80-100 ml of water (for 12 Gyoza) into the pan from rim, then cover with the lid. Reduce the heat to medium low, steam for 4-5 mins.
5. After the water has evaporated, the bottom of gyoza should be crispy .
6.To keep the bottom of the gyoza crisp, serve it upwards.
Dipping sauce
Soy sauce, rice vinegar, chilli oil or sesame oil
