Hi everyone
Tom here โฆ
I donโt post much on Facebook and when I do I rarely put anything on about my experience with cancer, however please take a couple of minutes to have a look at the following post.
Itโs nearly been 10 years since my cancer diagnosis, itโs was without doubt the scariest thing Iโve ever had to deal with and still to this day it effects me mentally.
Now I m not going to say โIโm lucky as Iโm still hereโ as I feel that your lucky if you never have to deal with cancer in your life. What I will say is that Iโm fortunate and great-full for having the family and friends and with McMillans great services available at the time.
After 2 operations and chemotherapy I was given the all clear. However I still have to have blood tests and scans for probably the rest of my life.
In the past I have taken part in a fundraiser for McMillan cancer care and raised just under ยฃ2000. Unfortunately with everything thatโs been going on people are not going into doctors like before and regularly checking themselves. The cost of cancer care is increasing day by day therefore I am so proud that I have been asked to join Dan, Andrew & Ben.
On august 18th We taking part in the 72 hole golf challenge.
All in aid of McMillan cancer care. Please click on the link and donate whatever you can. Thanks so much
