Choosing The Right Colour For Your Project.

If you want to be exact and consistent, the best way to do this is with a Colour Picker.

A colour picker (also colour chooser or colour tool) is a graphical user interface widget, usually found within graphics software or online, used to select colours and sometimes to create colour schemes.

The problem is that not everyone owns the right software or access to the right sites online.

Great News!!

Microsoft have 2 tools to use within Windows 10 that make it easy to do.

Snip & Sketch

This can be activated using SHIFT + Windows Key + S

(this should be available if you've got all of the latest Windows 10 updates)

Free Color Picker

(this can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store and installed on your PC)

How to use:

Grab an image from your screen using SHIFT + Windows Key + S

Open Free Color Picker (tip: have it pinned to your taskbar for easy access)

Click on Clipboard (within the Free Color Picker app)

Be amazed at how easy it is to get the Colour Codes for your perfect Colour.

Side Note:
You can also get Free Color Picker on HoloLens / Mobile Devices and Hub

You can also upload an image (if you have a picture already) directly into Free Color Picker
