This wedding shouted romance from the clifftops… 🌊
The bride walked down one of our secret country lanes to a beautiful lakeside ceremony by a swagged arch intertwined with fresh flowers. Afterwards guests threw rose petal confetti before drinks and canapés in a woodland glade. Then this sea loving couple headed to the coast for dramatic shots on the beach - romantic wedding photographs to last a lifetime…❤️🔒

Small wedding heaven this June - the vibe was English country with a Cornish twist. Tables were laid with vintage china, cottage garden flowers, glass candlesticks and a classic afternoon tea menu of sandwiches, homemade cakes & scones with jam and clotted cream- oh and mini pasties! 🥟

The bride and groom arrived by Land Rover, rowed a floral boat on the lake and also made a beeline for nearby Port Gaverne, the perfect misty cove for beach wedding shots showcasing the bride’s new denim jacket ‘wifey’ 🩵 💍

The cake set up of dreams The Garden Baker you’ve really outdone yourself with these wildly romantic wilderness cakes!
The thought and detail that has gone into these is phenomenal, anyone who has been to our venue knows we are covered in ferns and lush green woodland foliage 🌿🌿🌿 it’s like these cakes sprang from our own hedges 💚

3 individual cakes each presented on their own custom made wooden cake stands of varying heights to create an impactful set up. The 3 delicious flavours for the cakes were;
~ Cinnamon Swirl
~ Chocolate & Salted Caramel
~ Lemon & Elderflower
Plus 48 cupcakes in matching flavours to the cake which were packaged into Kraft boxes tied with jute twine for use as wedding favours later on in the day.

Oh and all these cakes were vegan! 🌱

A beautiful white and forest green theme with an ombré buttercream, pressed foliage and flowers which picked and dried and then sprays of gorgeous fresh flowers which were provided by .

Incredible skill and design 👏🏽😍🌿🌱💚🍰 🎂 🧁

This bride & groom originally planned a beach wedding to tie the knot but changed their minds when they saw our lake & woods...so it had to be a lakeside ceremony even on a rainy day with a yellow weather warning! Bridesmaids’ dresses in dark teal were offset by glowing sunflowers and table runners in the same elegant colour looked beautiful during the reception in the marquee with Cornish grown flowers & tapering candles. There were more accents of green with ferns on the marquee walls & a surfboard at the entrance giving that surfer vibe. The weather was wet but guests spent the weekend in tipis & nothing dampened this wedding party’s spirits! 🪩 💃🏼 🌻
