This banga soup thought me another life lesson. Let me gist you guys what happened. So I was cooking this banga soup on livestream and when it was time to add banga spice I realised I didn't have any at home, so why did I start cooking banga if I don't have spices🤷‍♀️? I asked myself before ending the livestream 🤦‍♀️.

The food was already on fire and the banga broth already added so I couldn't change my mind, the only option I had was to continue cooking. I checked my cabinet and found some random spice that's not really banga soup designated spice o I gathered them together and added them to the soup, (aidan fruit, cinnamon stick and a pinch of pepper soup spice etc) then I added a little bit of egusi as thickener because at that point I had accepted that I don't know what I'm cooking, I'm just throwing things inside the pot and if it comes out badly I'll throw it away. (I can't manage food even if it was prepared by me).

When my husband ate the soup he told me hmm you'll cook this soup again just the way it is ehhn, ( I didn't tell him what happened) I said you like it? He said its very delicious I love it pls when you cook again remember how you made this one. I laugh ehhn before telling him the story behind his new found love.
