What an incredible first quarter for Transition Stage Company and our visionary founder, Natalie Edward-Yesufu! We are thrilled and deeply honored to share that Natalie’s life’s work has been recognized as a finalist for the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Film and TV Award with Disney Entertainment for Inclusion. This achievement places her alongside groundbreaking initiatives like Enter.Stage.Write and StoryTown - Ideas You Own, celebrating the power of storytelling and inclusion.

At Transition Stage Company, Natalie’s mission has always been to platform excellence by uplifting writers from all walks of life. She believes that stories and ideas are the foundation of our world, and that every story matters. This core belief inspired her to create a platform that amplifies diverse voices and brings their narratives to life.

What began as a bold vision in 2017—bootstrapped with Natalie’s own resources and driven by her unwavering determination—has blossomed into a powerful movement. We are immensely grateful to everyone who has trusted Natalie and Transition Stage Company as a conduit to serve creatives and champion their stories. Time: 5:30 pm to 2:30 am

About Us:

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Stage Manager and Creative Director to lead the entertainment aspects of our upcoming Corporate Awards Ceremony at the prestigious Hilton Birmingham NEC. This event promises to be high-profile, featuring live acts and entertainment that will captivate our audience.
Key Responsibilities:

Directing, producing, and creatively overseeing all entertainment elements of the event.
Coordinating with live acts and entertainment teams to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.
Managing logistical aspects, including scheduling and stage setup.
Bringing innovative ideas to enhance the overall ambience and atmosphere of the ceremony.
Producing and the creative direction of the entertainment at the event.

Qualifications:
Background in directing, producing, or creative directing for corporate events, weddings, or theatre productions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Creative eye for up-market entertainment events.

Location:

Candidates located in the Midlands UK or with a second base are preferred.

Compensation:

Payment will be provided based on equity creative director-producer rates and above.

Opportunity for Growth:

We are seeking an individual who can potentially oversee all events within our company network, demonstrating long-term commitment and dedication.

Team Collaboration:

We are open to considering a team of two individuals, comprising a Producer and Director, to complement each other's skills and expertise.
