This Christmas, Iā€™ve been thinking about what gift I can give to Jesus. After all, Christmas is really about celebrating Him.

So I want to give Him the gift of my timeā€”making an effort to be more intentional about prayer, reading His Word, and just being still in His presence. Jesus has given me so much, and I know He deserves my best.

Life gets busy, but I donā€™t want to get so caught up that I forget to give Him the love and devotion He deserves. This Christmas, my focus is on slowing down and giving Him my heart and my time. ā¤ļø

I am praying that it will set the pace and become a habit going forward. šŸ™šŸ¾

What about you? What gift can you offer to Jesus this Christmas?

Whatā€™s your favourite memory from this year? Or better yet, what new memories are you excited to create in the next?

ā€œIt is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.ā€ - Lamentations 3:22-23.

Today's affirmation: I am alive. I am present, and I am grateful for another year to make happy memories.

Godā€™s mercies never fail, and His faithfulness is constant.

Each day, each year is a gift from God, filled with opportunities to cherish life and create moments that will last a lifetime.

Be intentional about living in the present, savouring the small joys, and giving thanks for the blessings around you.

Let this be a season of gratitude for what has been and hope for whatā€™s to come.

This year, I welcomed my first grandchild and am now visiting him and his parentsā€”my son and his wife in Japan. That's what I am most thankful for.

Life can be unpredictable, but His love and faithfulness are like a steady anchor for my heart.

This season, Iā€™m especially grateful for the gift of His presence. Itā€™s not just about the celebrations or gifts; itā€™s about knowing that Iā€™m loved and cherished by the One who came to save me. That kind of joy fills my heart and gives me peace even in the busyness of life.

Have you ever stopped to appreciate the unique gifts God has placed in you? Your creativity is a divine gift, meant to bless others and glorify Him.

ā€œAnd whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.ā€ - Colossians 3:23-24.

Todayā€™s affirmation: ā€œI celebrate the unique contributions I make through my creativity.ā€

Your creative work, no matter how big or small, has value. Whether you're writing, crafting, designing, or building, when you do it with love and purpose, you honor God.

Day 9: Embracing the Heart of a Servant: Lessons from Jesus' Humility

Today, we're diving into something super powerful about Jesus: His humility. Think about it ā€“ the King of Kings, born in a stable, a simple carpenterā€¦talk about humble beginnings!

It really makes you think, doesn't it? What does Jesus' humility really mean for us, today?

For me, it's a huge reminder that life isn't about chasing the spotlight or climbing the corporate ladder just for the sake of it. It's not about having the biggest house or the fanciest car.

Jesus showed us that true greatness comes from something way deeper: serving others with a heart full of love. It's about putting other people's needs before our own, even when it's inconvenient. It's about lifting others up, celebrating their wins, and being there for them in their struggles.

Think about the everyday moments: holding the door open for someone, offering a listening ear to a friend who's going through a tough time, volunteering at a local shelter, or even just offering a genuine compliment. These small acts of service, done with a humble heart, reflect the very essence of Jesus' life.

So, how can we bring a little more of that Jesus-like humility into our own lives? How can we make it real in our day-to-day? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Maybe you journal about it, have a chat with a friend, or simply take a moment to reflect. Letā€™s encourage each other on this journey.

What does Jesus' humility mean to you?

Have you taken note of the lessons this year has taught you? How will you use them in the future?

"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." ā€“ 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Todayā€™s Affirmation: ā€œI am grateful for the lessons this year has taught meā€.

This year has been full of growth, and Iā€™m so grateful for the lessons it has taught me. Even the challenges have brought wisdom and understanding, and Iā€™m thankful for every step along the way. šŸ™

I am excited about the growth these lessons will bring into the new year.

Day 8: How does Jesus being your Saviour inspire you to face challenges with courage?

Knowing Jesus as my Saviour gives me the courage to face whatever life throws at me.

When things get hard, I remind myself that Heā€™s already won the ultimate battle for me. That takes the pressure off because I know Iā€™m not fighting alone.

Even when I feel weak or unsure, Jesus gives me the strength to keep going. Heā€™s like my solid rockā€”always steady and strong no matter whatā€™s happening around me.

With Him, I can handle challenges one step at a time, knowing Heā€™s got my back and is working everything out for good.

What challenges are you facing with courage and the strength Jesus our Saviour gives?

Are you feeling overwhelmed as the year comes to an end? Or does the hustle and bustle of the season leave you drained? Perhaps itā€™s time to embrace peace and let go of stress.

ā€œCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.ā€ - Matthew 11:28

Todayā€™s affirmation: ā€œI release stress and welcome the calmness of the season.ā€

Life can feel hectic, but we donā€™t have to carry the weight alone. God invites us to rest in Him and trust that His peace will cover us. Releasing stress and stepping into His calmness is the best gift you can give yourself this season.

Take a deep breath today, let go of whatā€™s weighing you down, and lean into the peace God freely offers. His rest is available when you say yes to Him!

Whatā€™s one way you plan to release stress this week? Share belowā€”Iā€™d love to hear how youā€™re finding peace in this season!

Day 7: Reflect on Jesus as the Light of the World. How has He brought light to your life?

Jesus has brought light to my life in so many ways. In times of confusion, His truth has been my clarity, showing me the right path when I felt lost.

In moments of despair, His light has brought me hope, reminding me that darkness doesnā€™t last forever. Even in my most challenging seasons, His presence has guided me, offering comfort, peace, and purpose.

His light reveals the beauty in the everyday and reminds me that Iā€™m never alone, even in the darkest times. Iā€™m so grateful for the way He shines in my life, illuminating the way forward and helping me reflect His light to others.

How has Jesus been a light in your life?

Have you ever felt the peace that comes from truly trusting God, even when the future feels uncertain?

ā€œThou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.ā€ ā€“ Isaiah 26:3.

Todayā€™s affirmation: ā€œI am walking in Godā€™s peace as I trust Him to guide me into the new year.ā€

As the year comes to a close, itā€™s natural to reflect on the past and wonder about the future. But Godā€™s peace is not tied to circumstances; itā€™s tied to trust. When you focus your heart and mind on Him, He steadies you with a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Step into the new year confidently, knowing God is your guide. No matter what lies ahead, His peace will carry you through every season.

How are you leaning on Godā€™s peace as you prepare for the year ahead?

Day 6: Jesus is the Prince of Peace. What does His peace look like in your life?

For me, His peace feels like a calm in the middle of chaosā€”a stillness that settles my heart, even when everything around me feels overwhelming.

Itā€™s not about the absence of struggles but the presence of Jesus in the midst of them. Knowing that He is in control gives me a deep reassurance that I canā€™t find anywhere else.

His peace is like an anchor, steadying me when lifeā€™s storms try to shake me. It reminds me to trust in His promises, knowing that He works all things together for good.

Whether itā€™s a quiet moment of prayer, a comforting scripture, or a gentle nudge from the Holy Spirit, His peace surrounds me and carries me through.

What does joy and gratitude look like in your life right now?

"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." - Psalm 100:4.

Todayā€™s affirmation: ā€œI am filled with joy and gratitude for Godā€™s blessings this season.ā€

This season is a time to reflect on Godā€™s goodness and the blessings Heā€™s poured into our lives. Whether itā€™s the gift of family, health, provision, or simply the joy of another day, there is so much to be thankful for!

As we embrace this time of joy, letā€™s carry hearts full of gratitude into every moment.
Choose to celebrate Godā€™s goodness dailyā€”big or smallā€”and watch how your perspective shifts!

Gratitude opens the door to joy, and joy strengthens our spirit. So today, take a moment to praise Him, thank Him, and bless His name!

I am particularly grateful for the birth of my first grandchild and the opportunity to spend Christmas with him, my son and my daughter-in-law in Japan where they live.

Reflect on your blessings - what are you grateful for this season? Share one thing youā€™re thankful for, and tag someone who inspires gratitude in your life!

Day 5: Can you love like Jesus?

Jesusā€™ love is unlike any other love we know. Itā€™s unconditional, sacrificial, and unchanging.

Jesus is LOVE! ā¤ļø

While the worldā€™s love can often feel transactionalā€”based on what we do, how we look, or what we can offerā€”Jesus loves us at our best and our worst. He loves without expecting anything in return and gave everything to show that love by going to the cross for us.

His love challenges me to live differently. Instead of holding grudges, Iā€™m reminded to forgive. Instead of impatience, Iā€™m encouraged to show kindness. Instead of putting myself first, Iā€™m inspired to serve others and reflect His grace.

Jesusā€™ love is not limited or selectiveā€”itā€™s for everyone. That truth changes how I live, how I speak, and how I treat others. His love reminds me to see people through His eyes, extending compassion where the world might not.

How has Jesusā€™ love shaped your life? How does His love shape the way you live and love others?

Please share so we can learn new ways to emulate His love ā¤ļø

Are you allowing lifeā€™s challenges to grow you into someone resilient and unstoppable?

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." - James 1:2-4.

Todayā€™s affirmation: "I am becoming stronger, wiser, and more resilient with every challenge I face."

Every challenge you face has a purpose: to make you stronger, wiser, and more resilient. It may not feel easy in the moment, but you are being shaped and strengthened for something greater.

Trust that the hard times are refining you, building endurance, and preparing you for Godā€™s perfect plans.

Donā€™t give upā€”rise stronger with faith, knowing the strength you need is already within you.

Day 4: What does Jesusā€™ birth mean for you personally?

Jesusā€™ birth reminds me that God always fulfills His promises, no matter how long the wait may seem.

His arrival in Bethlehem was the ultimate act of faithfulnessā€”proving that God keeps His word and that His plans for our lives are always good, even when we donā€™t understand His timing.

But more than that, Jesusā€™ birth shows us that God is the ultimate giver. He gave us His only Sonā€”the greatest gift of allā€”to bring light, salvation, and hope into our broken world.

Every gift from God, whether big or small, is a reflection of His love and generosity. He gives not only what He promises but often more than we could ever imagine or deserve.

For me, this truth gives hope that I can trust Him with every part of my life, knowing that He will provide, guide, and fulfill His plans in perfect timing.

What about you? How does Jesusā€™ birth inspire you today?
