That’s a wrap then ….. all the Christmas parties of 2023 completed last night at our residency in Moorgate. It’s been an absolute blast with some great parties and we love the staff down there that we work alongside from the events teams as well as the waiters / waitresses and team leaders.

Fingers crossed we’ll be back again next Christmas 🎅 🎄🎶🙌.

Great to be back down at our residency for the last 3 Christmas parties of the year. Small group of 50 last night but we had a great time playing loads of genres from cheese to garage etc 🎶🕺💃🎄🎅🥳🙌

Another week of Christmas parties completed at our residency One Moorgate Place finishing off with a change of scenery at the Broadway Hotel Letchworth for another Christmas party alongside the wonderful singer Uke.

Back to One Moorgate Place next week for our last three events before we take a well deserved rest over the Christmas period 🎶🕺💃🥳🎅🙌🎄

Back at our venue last night for the first of three events this week. Last night was a little different to the norm as was a standing event with our venue show casing their wonderful new bar. Loads of dancing and loads of genres covered last night from chart, R’n’B, hip hop, house and cheese 🎶💃🕺🙌

This year I’ve taken a step back and not done as many parties this year due to other commitments including the weekly radio shows I do on Soul Groove Radio on Tuesdays and more recently my Saturday Night Warm Up Show on Royston Radio as well as my other business.

However, I am back at my residency in London covering over 21 Christmas parties over the next few weeks so I’m sure you’ll be seeing a few more posts over the next few weeks 😬🎅🙌🎶💃🕺

Last night we were helping Gill & Mark celebrate their wedding reception at the beautiful Shortmead House in Bigglewade. It was a fantastic night with Gill, Mark and their guests dancing most of the evening.

Last night we provided the disco for Kaz’s 60th birthday celebrations. It was a fantastic turnout for her party and a great night. Rising High Discos has provided many discos for the family over the years including Kaz’s 40th and all have been fantastic.

So that’s the Christmas Party season done and dusted with all the equipment packed down and taken off site until next year.

Also, to mention, the staff at the venue are wonderful and have worked really hard over the last few weeks and as always made me and my team feel really welcome.

Last nights party was a fantastic one to finish on with the dance floor busy from the end of dinner service until shut down.

I’m going to have a few days rest until my next gig which will be NYE at my residency Royston Soul Club which I’m really looking forward to.

I’m also back on the radio this Thursday from 8-10pm with the Groovin You Show on Soul Central Radio which you can listen to on your Smart Speaker, Alexa or on the web.

It’s been a long few weeks but finally I’m at the final Christmas Party of the season for another year. Most parties have been great and a few not so. Many thanks to Andy and Limahl for covering the other rooms and the events I couldn’t cover.

Last night we began our long run of Christmas discos at our beautiful residency One Moorgate Place in the Great Hall which looks more magical every year. We had a crowd of over 200 party people to entertain and it was a fantastic festive evening 🎅🎄🎶🕺💃

Last night Rising High Discos provided our Dj services for Andy and Jill’s wedding reception at this lovely little intimate venue just outside Royston Herts. After 34 years together Andy and Jill tied the knot and what a fantastic party it was to finish off their special day !

Last night we travelled to Norfolk and had the pleasure of DJing and providing our disco services for Amanda & Anthony’s wedding reception at the beautiful Godwick Hall . We have done loads of parties for the family so we knew this would be a fantastic night playing a whole range of music from Motown to Drum’n’Bass & hip hop classics 🎶🎶🎶
