Totenkopf Kali
Hi Everyone,
I've been out of circulation for a while now, mostly due to all my time being taken up with the day job, and making sure my Leprechaun Kickstarter campaign is fulfilled.

I have 99% completed the KS fulfilment, and the day job is quietening down as we approach Christmas, which means I have a little head-space to post again, and thought I would share this with you - my take on Karla Von Kill.

I've taken a hard-bitten, Tank Girl-esque approach to Kali, as she's supposed to be a rough tough beat-em up kind of girl, hence the mish mash of bits of differing team kit. As Kali often plays for Fling teams, I have given her a Leprechaun themed head variant, to help her fit in.

I should have my web store sorted very soon. Once all the KS links etc. have been removed, she will be available in the Star Players section here www.agemaminis.co.uk

As always, I hope you like her, and I'll post pictures of a painted test print of her very soon.

Halfling Apothecary
Morning All,
Bob of Bob's Miniatures has finished our Halfling Apothecary mini, and here's a render of him! Can you spot the severed limbs in his surgical bag? :-) I'm trying to think of a suitable pun-like name; and suggestions very welcome!
This chap will shortly be heading over to the top chaps at De Tinnen Roos for 3d printing, and then being shipped out to all of our Kickstarter backers. Kickstarter Minis Production
Hi Everyone,
As mentioned last time round, I travelled once more over to see the fantastic guys at DTR (De Tinnen Roos) in the Netherlands last week, to oversee the initial production runs of our KS minis. It was a very full couple of days, as I was very much 'hands on' making sure the various builds were configured correctly and that each of the Asiga printers was utilised to its maximum capacity.
I didn't manage to bring any of the finished figures home with me as I had hoped, as that was a bit tricky with Customs and related import duties etc., but the DTR chaps should finish printing the remaining minis this week, to then ship them to me and out to you over the following 2 weeks. Nearly there everyone!
Thanks to the guys at DTR, especially Ramon for finding the most expensive Steak House in Nijmegan for us to eat at! (only kidding Ramon, it was awesome and well worth it!) and I'll let you all know when the first batch of minis arrives at Agema Towers, and when I can start shipping to you all.

Leprechaun Beastmasters
Hi Everyone,
I'm back from my hols, and now struggling to catch up with the inevitable backlog of hundreds of emails, and re-adjusting to Britain's cold, damp climate! (It was 35 degrees at night where I was, so 21 degrees at mid-day is positively Baltic!!!)
While I was away though, Bob of Bob's Miniatures managed to complete the Leprechaun Beastmasters for me, and here's a sneak preview.
We've aimed to go full-on denizens of the forest with these guys, so beast a-plenty festoon our grumpy geezers :-)
These two can now be paired up with the Goose and the Wolverine, to provide a real woodland menagerie to confound your Blood Bowl opposition!
These chaps will not be on general release for a few weeks yet, as I need to send them out as part of my Leprechaun Kickstarter first (planned to fulfil in September). So keep an eye out here and I'll let you know when you can get your hands on them (and the rest of the Leprechauns) soon.

Leprechaun Wolfhound 2
Hi Everyone,
This is my last bit of painting and posting before taking a short summer break. I shall be returning to the paint brush shortly, following some R&R.
In the meantime, I managed to squeeze in the majority of Leprechaun Wolfhound 2 this week. As mentioned before, I wanted to try a 'blonde' colour scheme on this chap, and while he still has a bit of finishing to do, I'm quite pleased with him!
Next week will be (hopefully!) our Leprechaun Wolverine, and then as a palette cleanser, Nutjob (a.k.a. Akhorne) the Squirrel. Truly the month of beasts!

Leprechaun Master Chef

Morning All,
This little dude has been sat on my painting desk for months, and I had started to think that he was really under performing in his duties for me as I hadn't shown him the love he thinks he deserves! (he really was not taking enough re-rolls from my adversaries).
I therefore committed to getting him finished, and here he is :-)
I'm still trying to think of a suitable 'pun' name for him - any suggestions welcome.
The pre-order store for the Leprechauns will close next Saturday, 27th July so you still have one week to get your hands on some Leprechaun goodness at KS prices. Link at the top of the post.
Next time I'll hopefully have finished a first pass at our Leprechaun Gnome Wolverine, and that smallest of Fling Stars, Akhorne the Squirrel.

Leprechaun Gnomes - Wolfhound 1
Afternoon All,
In between being amazed that England Football are through to a major football final for the first time EVER, and disappointed that England Rugby didn't manage to turn over a very good New Zealand side down-under, I managed to put some paint on one of our Leprechaun Gnome beasts - the Irish Wolfhound (Fox).
For this guy I went with a speed-paint palette, muted dry-brush greys with some flesh tones on his tongue to provide some accents and focus. It's a bit of a stereotype that Wolfhounds are grey, so for the next one I'm going for a more cream colour overall. Watch this space!

Leprechaun Bomber - done!
Evening All,
Well, England are through to a semi-final of a major football tournament on penalties, and equally improbably, I have managed to finish painting my Leprechaun Bomber!
I've tried to give the impression that there is magical explosive stuff in his broken barrel, with some of it oozing out of a knocked over bottle. I didn't quite know how to paint petrol, so blue had to do!

Leprechaun Bomber
Hi Everyone,
In between this weekend's sporting dramas, I started to put some paint on our Leprechauns in their 'Goblin' configuration. One of my favourite sculpts by Bob's Miniatures for us is the Bomber. This wee scamp is based on a famous Banksy painting (called 'The Mild Mild West'), throwing his Molotov Cocktail, although he's not very Teddy bear like! I've looked to make this mini into a vignette, so I added a smashed barrel for additional support for his foot, and prepped bomb bottles around him to give that frantic, chaotic 'Bomber' look (including a spilt bomb threatening to ignite!).
He's only half done, so I'll show more pics when I get him finished. You can still grab some of these guys at Kickstarter prices via our late pledge page here:

Gnome Team Wolf-Hounds
Morning All,
I managed to run off a couple of test prints of our 2 Gnome Team 'Foxes' yesterday - Bob's Irish Wolfhounds. These were printed on my little Mars 2 Pro using standard resin, and came out great! Once produced on the De Tinnen Roos Asiga machines they will be awesome!
I'm going to get a bit of paint on these guys so you can see better how they look, and get them side by side with a few of our Leprechauns too. Don't forget, you can still late pledge for these guys here:

Gnome 'Fox'
Morning Guys,
Bob's been beavering away on the 'Gnome' themed players for our Leprechaun team, and here is the 3rd of them - the 2nd of the 'Foxes' (or in our case, Irish Wolf-hound)
We've gone for a 'I'm not giving the ball back' kind of pose, which is in keeping with these chaps! With both dogs and the Goose now finished, we have the Wolverine (Badger) to come, and then the Beastmasters and Illusionists. Leprechaun Troll
Hi Everyone,
I recently took my Leprechauns in Goblin configuration to the Beach Bowl tournament in Paignton organised by Idle Games Club. T'was a top day, and although I lost 2 of my 3 games, I did manage to scrape a rather lucky win in my last against Ray and his Co-Op Cabbage Munchers (I've probably butchered that name, but the important part is they are Flings!)
Here is the star of my team, my Troll. He's based on a John Blanche sketch from the late 80's, in keeping with our more comic and fun slant on Fantasy Football minis. Oh, that's an eye-ball inside the gore on his hand if you're interested!
