📈 Get familiar with the new interface: GA4 has a new user interface that is different from Universal Analytics. Spend some time exploring the new interface and getting comfortable with it.

📈Understand the new data model: GA4 uses a new data model that is event-based, as opposed to session-based in Universal Analytics. This means that you will need to think about events and how they relate to your business goals.

📈Implement GA4 alongside Universal Analytics: GA4 is not yet a full replacement for Universal Analytics, so it's recommended to implement it alongside your existing Universal Analytics setup to ensure you don't lose any data.

📈Set up conversion tracking: GA4 has a new way of tracking conversions using events. Make sure to set up conversion tracking so that you can measure the success of your marketing campaigns.

For me, it has to be AUTHENTICITY.

I'm excited to see how authenticity continues to trend in the marketing world in 2023. Authentic messaging and branding allow companies to form real connections with their audience, which can ultimately lead to increased trust and loyalty.

Whether you are focusing on your personal or business branding:

🔎 Be as transparent, as you can about your values, missions and practices. If you use eco-friendly materials for example, tell your audience about your commitment to sustainability.

🙋‍♀️ Show the human side of your brand by sharing behind-the-scenes content such as a day in the life of, or employee stories and business wins.

🤝 Build long-term relationships with your audience by providing value through your content, you can establish yourself as a trusted resource and build loyalty amongst your audience so that you are in the forefront of their mind when they require your services or products.

In life, work, and play. Be as authentic as you can. Always be YOU.

Now the show doesn't always get it right, granted. But Marketers can learn a valuable lesson from the show about putting their audience first.

If you want to create engaging content that converts you should focus on what your audience wants and how you can serve them. This approach can help create an engaged, loyal community.

To ensure that your marketing efforts are aligned with the needs and desires of your audience, ask yourself these questions before sharing content:
👠 Why am I posting this?
💄 What does this give my audience?
👗 Does this solve a problem, fill a need, or provide something new for the reader?

By answering these questions, you can ensure that you are meeting the needs of your audience and building trust.

It’s time to @ on YouTube

YouTube is now entering the 2022 social media space and finally adding the ability to add handles for channels.

This is such a great move for the platform as it’ll make it SO much easier to drive people to your profile and promote your channel on the app.

Before this, unique channel URLs were only available for people who had 100 subscribers but now it’s available to ALL users (much like most social media apps).

While part of this is to help promote channels and make it easier to mention accounts in comments, community posts, and video descriptions, it’s also to help stop copycat channels. Being able to have a unique handle will make it harder for people to replicate certain handles to trick users with scams.

If you don’t have your handle yet, you’ll want to hurry up and grab it soon before you’re too late!
