A group of local young people, who put together a video as a tribute to the magical world of celebrated author C.S. Lewis, were treated to an exclusive screening of the film on Monday night (see below a short promotional trailer).
The event was part of a wider C.S. Lewis festival in Rostrevor, which has strong links to Narnia.
C.S. Lewis is best known for ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’, and the video, which was partly filmed in the idyllic forested demesne of Whyte’s Estate (Loughbrickland) and Kilbroney Park, was the brainchild of Banbridge-based speech and drama group, Sinéad Lunny Speech & Drama, and Alistair Livingstone of Light Theatre Company.
