With the focus on road safety this week E section Antrim were surprised to end up at a river today responding to a male who had been swept away whilst trying to retrieve his dog from the water. Thankfully everyone ( and don't worry his dog too!) were rescued safe and well. Our thanks to NIFRS and Air ambulance. Please take care in this weather everyone on and off the road

More good news for the weekend! Just months after the sudden closure of Jake's Cocktail Bar & Grill in the summer, Sean and Geraldine McLaughlin, who run the Boathouse at the Loughshore, are reopening the premises as 'The Stone Hound' tomorrow, rehiring many of the staff from Jake's and sister restaurant Moe's Grill.
